The Dutch ambassador to Thailand, Karel Hartogh, will open Thursday 10 March as 'De Fourth Floor' in Bangkok. This is a fully furnished office for Dutch entrepreneurs and startups who want to explore the Thai market.

They can rent workplaces here and make use of guidance and support from a Dutch-speaking manager. Dutch entrepreneurs who are located elsewhere in Thailand and want to meet with a business relation in Bangkok can also visit 'The Fourth Floor'. The office of Mascotte Thailand, located at Krung Tonburi in Bangkok, has set up its entire fourth floor for this purpose.

'The Fourth Floor' is an initiative of chairman Martien Vlemmix of Dutch MKB Thailand, a
non-profit organization run solely by volunteers. Dutch SME Thailand has set itself the target
To support and inform Dutch entrepreneurs who are active or want to be active in Thailand. 'De Vierde Verdieping' was partly realized with a subsidy from the Dutch
embassy in Thailand. Mascot Thailand makes the office space available free of charge.

During the opening of 'The Fourth Floor', the Dutch embassy in Thailand will be spacious
represented. In addition to ambassador Hartogh are also deputy ambassador Guillaume
Teerling, first secretary of the embassy Bernhard Kelkes and senior economic affairs officer
Pantipa Sutdhapanya present.

The opening of 'The Fourth Floor' on March 10, 2016 at 17.00:XNUMX PM at Krung Tonburi Road

I would like to live and work in Thailand through a Dutch company. Is it possible to contact “The Fourth Floor” for this? I currently live in the Netherlands, but would like to change that. I am 55 years old and work in the cultural sector as an organizer of events, among other things.

    Regards Jan.

    Great initiative.

    We CAN.
Especially with different language !, different culture ! HELP for start-ups is very important.
And if the performance is equal to the info and atmosphere, many will benefit from this.

No first of all shit, sorry' what you MUST do,
but first take initiative, then think along and HELP, as in this case,
And do the things you need to do in the meantime. It is part OF, but not MAIN thing.

Yes, and sometimes things don't go well.
Well sorry then. Can fall. As long as you get up again.

This initiative 'I think' helps with:

"There is nothing better than for man to have satisfaction from all his hard work"

    Good luck,

    KhunBram Khon Kaen Isaan.

I've had the thoughts of starting something in Thailand for quite some time now, but I don't know how to approach this, I'm a national installer in central heating, water, gas technology and roof, lead, zinc works.
Thailand is not completely unknown to me, but it is just very difficult for a small foreigner to get this done. Who knows, this or this possibility can help me with this!. I would like to hear about the possibilities in this.

    Kind regards, Gerrit

I have had a house in Hua Hin for 4 years and I stay here on a regular basis.
Now a nephew of mine asked me if I knew a company in Bangkok that deals with trade, preferably internationally, where he can do an internship for a period of 3 months to half a year.
Last year he did an internship in Beijing (China)
Is there anyone, or this 4th floor, who can help him further in this.
I'd like to hear that, then I can pass on these contacts to him.
    Theo Schroeder
