The Netherlands exports large numbers of flower bulbs, including the amaryllis bulb, to customers worldwide. The illustrious amaryllis, "the queen of winter flowering plants", has many beautiful varieties and colors and - unlike many other types of flowers - can bloom both indoors and outdoors over a longer period of time.

In the Play La Ploen Gardens in Buriram you can experience the amaryllis in all its beauty and enjoy this Dutch export product. In these gardens many more flowers and plants and also all kinds of other possible activities. The period September – November is the best time for the amaryllis, but other flowers and plants (roses, tulips) are constantly being put in the spotlight.

Been here once, living in Buriram myself. For Thai and Dutch flower lovers it is nice to take a look here. There is enough to see. For me it was unfortunately a mandatory outing and luckily I was able to try out a new camera. Not because I found the flowers so interesting but more because I found the camera interesting…. 🙂
