Also today, the south of Thailand will experience heavy to very heavy rainfall. Especially the provinces of Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat will have their pick, tomorrow it will be Hua Hin and Chumphon, among others.

The weather in this area is under the influence of Typhoon Damrey which is moving over Vietnam towards the Gulf of Thailand. At least 27 people have been killed by the typhoon in Vietnam.

Hua Hin

On November 6 to 8, Hua Hin, Chumphon, Surat Thani and Nakhon Si Thammarat will experience a lot of rain and strong winds. Waves of 2-3 meters high arise in the Gulf of Thailand, so small boats have to stay on land.

The DDPM has announced that the heavy rains and water discharges, since October 10 until yesterday, have led to flooding in 79 districts of 23 provinces. More than 126.000 households are affected by flooding. Hospitals in the South have been asked to prepare for flooding. Among other things, sandbags are placed against flooding.

Didn't notice any bad weather at all. On the contrary, luckily it was a great day here in Hua Hin!
