Where can I park my car for 5 days (near Koh Chang)?
Dear readers,
I would like to go to Koh Chang island by motorbike for a few days. Only it is a long drive by motorcycle to the ferry to Koh Chang. Now I want to hang the motorcycle behind my car and then drive the car to the ferry. Is there someone who lives not too far from the ferry where I can park my car for 5 days? I only want to get on the ferry by motorbike.
Thanks for the comments.
Regards,
Henk
A bit confusing story. I assume you want to park the car for 5 days. There are many parking places near the pier. But you are certainly afraid of the combination car and trailer. Am I correct?
In Trat you can park your car at the airport, for example. Koh Chang is dangerous on a motorcycle, especially in the rainy season, think about it first. Gr Gerard
A very confusing question…. what do you actually want to store for 5 days, the motorcycle or the car? In the title you ask where you can park the motorcycle for 5 days and in the question it is the car.
Live on koh chang. Had a similar question in the past. But then for stables engine. There is quite a bit of space in the vicinity of the ferry departure point. Also a lot of stalls just before you enter the departure area. In the past I just asked one of the stalls with space behind it if I could park the motorcycle there for a week. Just agreed a decent fee and that's it. You can also simply drive onto the ferry with a trailer with a motor and then park your car near your hotel. Mostly all space. Have fun on Koh Chang/
By the way, don't expect too much of driving on Koh Chang. You are quickly bored with a motorcycle. There is only one road that runs along the sea. Side roads not worth mentioning. You can drive around the entire island in one day without any problems.
There is a large parking lot at the ferry. You can easily park your car there. No problem.
I would just take the car with me, costs little and can be easy on the island
Just in the parking lot at the pier?
I live 25 from Koh Chang you can leave your car with me Email me [email protected].
You can also reach me under number 0929410503 to park the car.
Dear All,
Thought the question was clear.
I don't go to the pier with the car and the motorcycle on the back and then leave the motorcycle behind.
There is not really much space on the pier that anyone can just park a car there.
Hence my question.
Fortunately, see a response from someone who has room to park the car.
Still, thanks for the responses.
Hank.
Just the whole set on the boat, costs little and you can easily park on the island. As said before, actually riding a motorcycle is very dangerous. Incredibly steep mountains with hairpin bends. I've seen many accidents there. All down in corners.
