Tropical storm causes a lot of damage

The tropical storm, accompanied by severe thunderstorms, wreaked havoc in many provinces, including Bangkok, yesterday. Many homes were damaged and people were injured.
An overview of the incidents:
- In Sanom (Surin), six houses were completely destroyed and 82 others damaged. The roof flew off 200 houses.
- Three women were injured when a shuttle van ran into a ditch on Vibhavadi Rangsit road opposite Don Mueang Airport during a severe storm. The driver lost control on the slippery road.
- In Phetchabun there was significant damage in 52 villages.
- Ten roofs of homes flew off in a holiday park in Loei.
- In Sa Kaeo, 58 houses were damaged on Thursday.
The rain is expected to continue for several days.
