The Meteorological Department on Tuesday warned of a Category 3 tropical storm. The storm named Higos will be active over China between Tuesday and Wednesday but will also affect the weather in Thailand.

Heavy rain should be expected until Sunday. Monday morning, the storm was still 200 kilometers southeast of Hong Kong and was moving westward at a speed of 25 km per hour.

When Higos moves to the north and northeast of Thailand, the tropical storm will bring another period of downpours from Tuesday to Sunday. The combination with the monsoon depression that hit Myanmar, northern Laos and northern Vietnam on Monday also resulted in turbulent weather.

It is advisable to keep an eye on the weather forecast in the coming days.

Hi, with the new upcoming heavy motorcycle driving license I have a question. I stay in Thailand with my girlfriend for a maximum of 3 months each time. So I'm going back during the year. Is the international driver's license still valid for heavy motorcycles? I have all the categories on my international driver's license.Gr.Patrick Smet

What does that have to do with the announced storm? Or do you only drive in bad weather?
