Thailand will buy another 35 million doses of vaccine, but now from two or three manufacturers other than AstraZeneca and Sinovac. 65 million doses are purchased at AstraZeneca and Sinovac. This has been announced by Prime Minister Prayut on the basis of a report from the committee for the procurement of Covid-19 vaccines.

Of the 35 million doses, XNUMX to XNUMX million doses are bought by the private sector to vaccinate their workforce. This saves the government money, Prayut said.

In Thailand, there is increasing resistance to Sinovac's vaccine, because it would offer a low degree of protection and side effects are also emerging.

Sinovac is safe says Anutin

According to Minister Anutin, the Chinese Sinovan vaccine is safe. He says this in response to reports that after vaccination with Sinovac, seven people experienced stroke-like symptoms because they developed paralysis. According to CCSA spokesperson Apisamai, there is no paralysis. The Department of Health's investigation says they had symptoms similar to a stroke, including muscle weakness and numbness, but that it was not a stroke. According to the miniseries, the vaccines are safe and the side effect observed is not serious. The patients recovered within 1 to 3 days and most of them were women who are not at risk of stroke given their age.

Thaksin wants to talk to Putin to arrange vaccines for Thailand

Former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has offered to help Thailand order vaccines from Russia. Prime Minister Prayut declines the offer, saying he wants nothing to do with Thaksin. Thaksin made his offer on the Clubhouse app on Tuesday. He said Thailand is too slow to vaccinate and more vaccines should be bought from other manufacturers than just AstraZeneca and Sinovac.

Thaksin also said that key businessmen in Thailand have the connections to buy more vaccines in other countries such as China and Russia. Thaksin himself would like to call Putin, he says.

Just read in the Telegraaf that Sinovac has such a high degree of protection.

      Dear Anthony,
You refer to an article from December 08, 2020. In the meantime, a lot of other information has already appeared. A few weeks ago I read an article that the protection rate is only 54%. I don't remember which online newspaper it was in, but every day an article appears somewhere that praises or denigrates one vaccine or another. I don't attach much importance to it.

Fine, we can choose later. By the way, I have no idea why.

Whether Anutin says that something is safe or not seems irrelevant to me. He is comparable in caliber to Hugo so the wisest thing to do is to completely ignore both of their nonsense and self-aggrandizement.
