About three-quarters of Thailand's population currently feel "anxious and hopeless" due to the Covid-19 pandemic, according to an opinion poll by Suan Dusit Rajabhat University or Suan Dusit Poll.

The poll was conducted online of 1.713 people across the country from May 24-27. to gauge the mental state of the population in the “Covid-19 era”. Respondents were allowed to choose more than one answer per question.

In my opinion, there is no one who doubts that these figures reflect reality.
The question is whether the government is doing anything about this at all? .. outside of “we are aware of it and blah blah blah” … ie a Mickey Mouse explanation or response .. and the donkey remains still.
Unfortunately, this applies to every country, not just Thailand.

I also notice that in my environment. This is partly due to the government's confused policy and poor information. I notice that on TV too much attention is given to side effects of the vaccines, which of course makes people even more insecure.

I think it's good that attention is paid to the side effects, you have to know what the consequences could be. You don't even know what they inject into your body, which I find strange because people also read the package leaflet first when you get new medicines, don't they? The chance that you will survive or die is many times greater than that you will win the lottery. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they want to be vaccinated, but I do think that you can choose which vaccine you want to be vaccinated with.

These numbers are 100% correct to me. I attribute that to the resilience of the people, because at most they receive a little bit of support from their government.
For many, the water will be on their lips by now.
We should also bear in mind that the poorest who are hardest hit are probably not surveyed in this opinion poll because they are not 'online'.
