Thailand has recently been introduced to tropical storm Linfa, but a new storm called Nangka is on the way.

Yesterday, Nangka was still 150 km east of Hainan Island in China. The storm caused wind speeds of 75 km per hour there. Nangka is moving westward at 20 km/h and will bring more rain in eastern Thailand but also in the upper part of the Northeast, the Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) warns.

Governor Wichian of Nakhon Ratchasima, a province affected by Linfa, has instructed local authorities to take emergency measures.

Also above the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand and in the South it rains continuously, in some places very hard, due to a strong southwest monsoon. Waves of 2 to 3 meters are expected. Smaller boats are not allowed to sail, other vessels must be very careful.
