A large crocodile has been sighted off Bang Tao Beach on Phuket. An Australian tourist's drone filmed the reptile.

The Phuket Provincial Fisheries Office has been instructed by the governor of the province to track down and capture the animal in collaboration with local services and services. Villagers and tourists entering the water are warned as much as possible. Lifeguards will patrol more often.

The district chief of Thalang says the recording was made on August 25 and was circulated on social media on Tuesday. It is probably a freshwater crocodile. These can survive in salt water for two to three days at the most. The animal is expected to move to water catchment areas that are connected to the sea.

It is not the first time that a crocodile has been spotted in the sea in Thailand. In 2013, one was seen off Mai Khao beach. There are quite a few crocodile farms in Thailand. Occasionally one or more escapes, such as during floods.

After a wonderful day of diving with my buddy Erik Cozijnsen near Koh Kham Yai on June 7 this year, a two meter long crocodile swam along the boat.

It was around 17 pm and was noticed by all the people on the boat, so don't come up with "it must have been a sun reflection".

There is a beautiful specimen of a real crocodile swimming there. So watch out.

    Best regards.

I never knew that those animals move so gracefully in the water.

When they attack a tourist, the elegance is gone in one go.
You don't stand a chance against a beast this big.

I worked in Borneo for the offshore industry, regularly saw crocodiles at sea, and none of those little ones either. So what is said that they only survive a few days in the salt water I don't really believe.

These will probably have been saltwater crocodiles, also known as saltwater crocodiles. The males are on average 4 to 5 meters long.

Restaurant Yok Yor has them on the menu and now buys them from the farm. So the crocodile has to watch out because he/she is free..

All animals must beware of the most dangerous beast in the world.
