In Pattaya, a 67-year-old Briton was shot in the neck by his 33-year-old Thai friend. The victim has been hospitalized in critical condition.

Police and medics had to rush to K Apartments in Soi Saitee, near the Bali Hai Viaduct. There they found the heavily bleeding Colin Thomas G. with a gunshot wound on his neck.

The suspected perpetrator, his Thai partner Khun Tiradaet, was arrested nearby after he tried to flee. He was caught with a .38 caliber handgun.

The pair had been criticized for the behavior of the Thai man who allegedly drank, smoked and stepped too much. Because the perpetrator was fed up with the victim's comments, he shot his lover twice.

Regrettable incident and hopefully the man survives and the Thai is punished.
Moreover, a .38 is not a handgun but a revolver.

Unfortunately, these kinds of things are the order of the day (but not necessarily with firearms) in Thailand behind the smile or smile there is often a very special psyche in Thailand.

0.38 caliber! That's a big boy of a bullet, of 'Dirty Harry-esque' proportions. I know so much about firearms!

I hope the best for this gentleman, but I also know what a '38' can do…
