For many foreigners, the recurring annoyance was the 90-day notification at immigration. From April, foreigners with an annual visa will no longer have to report to the Immigration Bureau every 90 days. The digital highway is then the solution to extend your stay in Thailand.

We wrote about it before on Thailandblog but now it is also official. The 90-day notification for an annual visa can now also be done digitally.

According to Colonel Worawat Amornwiwat, this new service aims to provide convenience for foreigners in Thailand and fits in with the strategy to prepare Thailand for regional integration under ASEAN (AEC).

Foreigners can make their 90-day report concrete by completing a report form on the website: extranet.immigration.go.th/pibics/online/tm47/TM47Action.do or via the usual portal www.immigration.go.th. The service does currently require the use of the Internet Explorer web browser, but that will be expanded in the future.

For now I am still being sent from pillar to post.
From the Immigration Bureau Website I am redirected to IMMIGRATION BUREAU Thailand and from there back to Immigration Bureau Website Thailand.
We also have the Immigration Bureau.
If anyone has found the arrow exit of this maze, I'm recommended.

I believe from April, so it is logical that it is not yet functioning in March

I read somewhere else that the effective date is April 1, so it doesn't work yet. You can now visit the website. By the way, I visited the site with a browser other than IE and if you click through it works just fine. You can also download the PDF manual, easy to see how it works. I came across, among other things, that you also have to provide the flight number with which you entered Thailand. And I don't know anymore, so that's making good progress.

René, I assume you remember which plane me. you have come to Thailand. Then you can enter the flight no. so look it up on their site because those numbers are the same every day. A'dam-Bangkok with EVA
For example, Air is always BR76 and with China Airl. I thought CI066.

Thank you very much, indeed with EVA air. I will remember BR76. Talk about an insecure connection. The information requested is not really important right now. I learn a lot more about people on Facebook.

    Just tried it.
The Extranet reference does not work
Referral to their site is written: under construction
So we have nothing to do with this either

Does it seem normal if the article says "from April"?

This works, mind you, only with Internet Explorer of all releases. Is very insecure as it is an HTTP connection and no security certificate has been issued for it. I have also heard that they still work with Windows XP there, nice and safe. All your personal data freely accessible on the Internet. Didn't see me, do it personally.

For me it is ((REALLY)) no improvement. I have never had a computer lesson. Always send my papers to the immigration office + return envelope by post and within a week I will receive the paper with the new date when I must report again. Never had any problem with the 90-day reporting obligation. So hope that sending by post remains possible.
