Bangkok police appear to be looking for a new suspect. This person is said to have shared the room with Adem Karadak, also known as Bilal Mohammed, who was arrested earlier in Nong Chok. Soon a composite drawing of him will be distributed, based on information from Karadak.

Karadek has confessed to knowing the suspects who are wanted, but he says he does not know the bomber in the yellow shirt.

The only other man involved in this case is Yusufu Mierali (25). He has admitted to having been in Ratchaprasong when the bomb exploded. Police have learned from video footage that he bought chemicals from shops in Min Buri in July and August. He has also bought materials online that can be used for making bombs. The man is a chemist who graduated in China and can make a bomb. Police still believe he detonated the bomb and then took off in a taxi.

Furthermore, camera images show that a number of suspects explored the site of the attack on August 14, these images have not yet been made public.

An expert also speaks in Bangkok Post who says that the scenario that human traffickers have placed the bomb is very small. International human trafficking networks, which use Thailand as a transit country, do not want to attract too much attention and will therefore not draw attention to themselves with a bomb attack.
