Fugitive Dutch pedophile arrested in Cambodia
The Dutch paedosexual Pieter Ceulen, who was recently sentenced to nineteen years in prison in Belgium for sexual abuse of small children, has been arrested. The man turned himself in to the police in Phnom Penh. This is reported by The Phnom Penh Post.
The man turned himself in thanks to the many media attention. He realized that he could no longer escape. The police previously searched Ceulen's villa in Siem Reap. The Dutchman will probably be extradited to Belgium, where he lived.
Ceulen was sentenced to 21 years in prison on January 19. He allegedly abused several children in the Philippines and Cambodia, including his own foster daughters.
The man has previously stated that his "sexual deviance" is because he was sexually assaulted by a brother at the age of 12. That would have happened at a Saint Louis boys' boarding school in Amersfoort. In the 50s and 60s, the boarding school would have been the setting for dozens of boys being sexually abused for years.
