Thai media: 'Dutch tourist in Phuket probably killed'
According to MCOT (a Thai news channel), the Dutch tourist from Breda who was found yesterday morning on the beach of Patong Beach on Phuket was murdered and then dumped in the sea.
The local police suspect a crime because the injuries to the back of his head were caused by a sharp object. The police also let us know that a large sum of money was found in a cloth bag.
The police are now assuming the scenario that Stephan B. was attacked from behind while he was exercising on the beach. His body was then thrown into the sea.
Police inspectors also do not rule out that a business conflict or a romantic relationship is the reason for the crime, especially because the victim has not been robbed of his belongings and the large amount of money.
