Extra security measures around Full Moon Party after Paris attacks
After the attacks in Paris, the Thai police have announced that they will increase vigilance in the tourist provinces and in particular during the upcoming Full Moon Party on Koh Phangan.
Thesa Siriwatho, commissioner of the provincial police region 8, said that places where many tourists gather will be extra guarded. The security measures also apply to all piers, bus stations and airports.
