The long wait for all fans of the legendary American soul band Earth, Wind & Fire (EWF) has finally been rewarded. On April 2th EWF performs to an undoubted full house at the Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani.

EWF existed for 40 years last year and was especially popular in the seventies with their characteristic music in which elements of African music, Latin music, funk, soul, jazz, pop, rock and other genres can be heard. The band is still known for the dynamic sound of their horn section, their energetic live performances and the great vocals of Phil Nailey.

EWF has sold more than 90 million albums worldwide with OA's super songs “September” and “Fantasy”, which will also be performed in Bangkok. Certainly their latest song “Guiding Lights” will also be heard. This song, which was released in November 2011, is already said to be their best song ever.

Tickets for this concert are already available for 2000, 3000 or 4000 Baht via www.thaiticketmajor.com  Don't wait too long because people expect a sold-out house.

If you are still in the Netherlands, you need to send your travel plan to Thailand unsuitable for this performance. Over the years, Earth, Wind & Fire has regularly visited the Netherlands and this is the case again this year. Later in April the band members will perform in Tilburg, Weert, Hilversum and The Hague.

Anyway, for the fans: have fun!

  1. cor verhoef says up

Earth Wind and Fire in Weert (L)? And during that same tour in Bangkok.

So the tour program consists of peaks and troughs, to say the least.
