40 Baht for a Euro!
It is with appropriate joy that I inform you that today, entirely in accordance with my previously stated expectations, the milestone of 40 Baht per Euro has been reached. I just slap myself proudly on the chest and release all brakes.
Well there is no bank here yet that gives Bankokbank 39,12. And if you look at your bank statement you won't get it by a long shot, so don't shout like that
Perhaps Frans does not do business with banks, but, as I have been doing in recent years, he simply takes (pl) euros with him and exchanges them at one of the numerous offices…
Even then you will not get to the B.40 at most like here in Huahin 39,35
Had a transfer from Belgium today, 38,762.
French, how are you doing? Do you think milestone 45 is coming into view.
Gr. Kim
If a new (almost inevitable) trough forms soon with a bottom at or slightly above 38.0, I think there is a good breeding ground for a further rise towards 8. 41.5 seems too high for this year at least.
Can I exchange money with you? Because at my Bangkok bank the exchange rate is 39,02.
berthy
Well,
Calm down French,
Last Monday, August 28, I received 2.000 Euro ING (benefactor's account) > SCB 77,976.96 Bhat.
So I'm not at 40 Bhat per Euro yet, maybe next month, because it's going up regularly.
Greetings Gerrit
Unfortunately short-lived because it has already dropped to 39.62……
Yes and it took a whole hour, or how some are happy with a dead sparrow
Intraday or not, price target achieved is price target achieved. A little trader has of course entered sales orders for certain levels in his system, and then it is not a dead sparrow but sound money.
Today at Bangkok bank 39,08 baht, good but still far from 40 baht
Dear Leen, together with you, many Thai tourists will be happy with the milestone of 40.
My question is how do you get there to request the exchange rate at Bangkok bank.?????
You do that. no bank. even worse is the AirPort there they are all the way
Greedy. go to the best exchange office at the yellow TT. as I write this
Is the exchange rate 39,72. Subtract the profit for the office.between 25 and 30 and that becomes
Paid out. at the latest DO NOT exchange during the weekend, then you always get less
Thailand has no currency trade, the real exchange rate only comes after 3 hours
European time.good luck. Theo
krungthai bank 39,1. That's not 40.
I hope you mean all that very cynically.
The only thing that happened yesterday in response to North Korea, among other things, is that the rate has touched 40, but at the time of writing it is about 39,66 again
“One swallow does not make a summer” is a wise saying for a reason
Ebury.com: order today, transferred 1 Sept, price NOW, 30 Aug 11:35 THB 39,43198 / Euro
Was yesterday: 39,61
The EX is otherwise falling sharply
Cheered too early
To cheer too soon or not to cheer too soon, that is the question.
The baht will probably tick over 40 in a few days, of course a profit was now taken on the resistance.
at which office do you exchange the most favorable? I myself always go to Western Union on the islands, I am now going to Samui and Phangan??? suggestions very welcome!
What a fuss about the difference.
Whether it's 39.62 pf 39.82 well there are worse things to make a fuss about.
The exchange rate difference is minor to me.
I pay more attention to the price of the tuktuk.
He sometimes asks 200 baht for which I pay standard 60 baht.
Oh well, the taxi boat has also been increased from 14 to 15 baht.
And that runs on an annual basis on average 5 x per week x 52 = 260 baht per year.
Oh what a drama.
You get money from the ATM why don't we complain that the Dutch banks take a fee of 2.25 or more.
They also charge transaction fees.
Hallo,
had put a nice sum into my Thai account two months ago
as an extra on top of the annual income. But then there was still a dip.
So loss. Now that the Baht has risen “properly” again and we are in two months
needing a jar for my partner's Schengen visa, that takes it again
is disadvantageous and Bath has to be added to arrive at the desired Euro amount.
We need a steady course of around XNUMX, that would be for the Farang
be an outcome. By the way saw that the withdrawal amount at the Kasikorn to 30,000
Bath is gone. At least that's something considering the 220 Baht cost.
Regards,
John D Kruse
According to the Hamburger index, the fair value for usd-eur is 1.20 usd = 1.00 eur
This is roughly equivalent to 40 baht for one euro.
Depending on the economic cycles in both economic blocks, the usd-eur
relationship going there again and again.
Hua hin small office next to burgerking the very highest of hua hin
Do I understand correctly that it is cheaper to exchange your (cash) Euros at an exchange office instead of depositing them directly into my account at, for example, Bangkokbank?
Kind regards, Manuel
Sure! Exchange euros at Superrich, for example, then you get much more Baht for your money than at the regular bank. (Especially if you are going to exchange thousands of euros, it saves a sip on a drink). Then deposit into your regular bank account. We almost always go to Superrich. They are located on the ground floor of Suvarnibhumi airport, but also in various places in the center of BKK, where they charge a better rate than at the airport. You can download their app for more info.
What nonsense - changed at Superrich today.
There are 3 different companies with 'Super Rich' on the name. One has mainly orange in the logo, the other blue and the third green. In the center near Siam Paragorn, all 3 are within a radius of a few hundred meters. Did all 3 stop everywhere? Seems stiff…
I keep saying it over and over but apparently a lot of people still think there is only 1 single Super Rich. See also the million previous blogs and responses to exchange rates, exchange and currency exchange offices.
Changed there 2 weeks ago… in Hua Hin (orange SuperRich) and a few weeks before that at the airport at the green Super Rich. So they still exist. In Hua Hin it is on the main road, at the very beginning at Ta Kiab, before Blueport. Both SuperRich chains, both the green and the orange have their own android apps. In those apps you will also find the branch locations/addresses and the rate at each branch.
For those who have the opportunity to go to an exchange office in Bangkok:
http://thailand.megarichcurrencyexchange.com/index.php?cur=eur
Use it to your advantage.
what a bitch!! it's about the growth the man predicted! and he was right about all those pessimists.
whose deed.
Totally agree ! The exchange rate in question is the official exchange rate. That's the only correct one. We all know that you get less exchange. Be glad the man is right. But no, a negative charge must always be poured out if necessary! Perhaps the best man will predict a course of 1:45. Delicious right? Ad.
At Linda Exchange in Bangkok you get 39.55
And this is the best address in Thailand to exchange the euros.
Well, I know that not everyone is able to exchange money in Bangkok, but if you happen to be here, it is good to do business with Linda Exchange.
No finicky desk clerks who check every banknote three times for a tiny tear.
From notes of 100 euros you get a slightly better rate.
So that the limit of 40 Bath has been broken is a utopia for the time being
Perhaps seen a price of 40 Bath somewhere after a number of glasses of Mekong.
Too bad French on the site of http://www.wisselkoers.nl at 14.15 NL time 39,6150 Thb and I believe that no bank will pay you that because they are always thrifty grocers.
At sometime. Received an alert from XE.com yesterday that the official rate had reached 40 Baht. That's what it's about. How long he would stay there is another story but the official course says the man was right.
Whether people like it or not…. 😉
The exchange rate is that as indicated on http://www.xe.com
They calculate the rate on the basis of the current mid-market rates on the international currency markets.
That is a common valuation measure for foreign currencies.
For example, if you get 40 baht for a euro at a mid-market rate of 35 baht at travelex, and have to pay 45 baht for a euro, the 'spread' is 10 baht. That is very expensive for the consumer.
If Krungthai Bank gives 39.1 as someone says, they will ask around 40.9, the spread will be 1.8 Baht, a lot more reasonable.
Exchange offices are the most favorable, TT-exchange in Pattaya has a spread of about 40 satang, so with a mid-rate of 40 you get 39.8 and you pay 40.2 for a euro. This is downright cheap for the service provided and further searching makes little sense at these rates.
.
Today's tip for those interested: Sell yesterday!
@corretje,
Superrich no longer exists? Best exchange office in Thailand, I also know Visu, I thought they had just expanded enormously and can now even be found at the airport and in Kon Khaen.
They are still online, I am now in NL so I am less informed about Thailand.
Quite a bit more than in January 2017. So all farang happy. The complaints of the past, including the pessimistic viewers, may look hopefully to the near future.
I wish the ordinary Thai success in compensating for the reduction in their purchasing power.
