Dear readers,

I have been living in Thailand since 2018 (and have since also deregistered in NL), but in 2020 and 2021 I periodically worked in the Netherlands for a few days when I got stuck there due to corona. This concerned administrative assistance approximately every three months when the quarterly finances were closed.

Because I received a pay slip, I had to register with a health insurance company in NL. Because I have a foreign address, the health insurance company asked for confirmation from the SVB that I am eligible for the Long-Term Care Act in order to be fully insured if something medical were to happen. I have now been told by SVB that I would only be insured under the Long-Term Care Act on the days I worked and not on all the days in between.

Is this right? I had understood that the NL health insurance continued for 3 months after a work period came to an end? Is my impression correct? Does this also apply to the Wlz? I can lodge an objection with the SVB until mid-December.

Who knows more about this, or who should I consult for advice?

Regards,

Alex

Hello, you should be at the CIZ, on their site they have several options to serve you.
https://www.ciz.nl?, do a Google search for CIZ,
    Central Care Indication.
