When will Loi Krathong be held in Bangkok this year (2014)? On Thursday 6 or Friday 7 November?
This year I wanted to see in Bangkok where Krathongs are launched. I see slightly more Thursday November 6th than Friday November 7th mentioned as THE date.

Who cares dude. You just come for 2 days.
To really experience this you better go to Chiangmai. For 3 days, this year 5,6, 7 and XNUMX November every day of everything to experience. The highlight is the hour-long parade of floats through the city center. Thousands of kratongs are launched on the Pingriver and thousands of lucky lanterns are released in an area outside the city. It is very busy but a great atmosphere. This year we will go again just like last year. Many hotels are already fully booked during that period, so be there on time. This also applies to transport.
