The first test runs have started on the northern extension of the Green Line from Wat Phra Sri Mahatat in Bangkok. The Green Line connects the capital with Pathum Thani and Samut Prakan provinces.

The seven-station expansion will be inaugurated on December 6, said Bangkok Governor Aswin, who visited and inspected the stations.

The line should relieve overheated traffic in Bangkok and reduce traffic jams. The line passes through important places in the north of Bangkok, such as a major market, hospitals, the air force academy and residential areas.

  1. easier says up

This is the line that is extended from Mo Chit.

During rush hour it is already difficult to travel from Sukhumvit to Mo Shit, sometimes you have to let 3 trains pass before you can get on. Now that he is being drawn to Lam Luka, it seems completely impossible to me.
So there will certainly not be any relief from traffic. Or very fast succession or double deckers.
