Dear readers,

My mother-in-law from Thailand will soon be coming to NL for a 3-month holiday. She is fully vaccinated with an EU approved vaccine. My question is: in NL you now need the corona pass in many places, how do we solve that for her?

Regards,

Pieter

    Dear Pieter,

You are obviously not the first to run into this. Nu.nl has written a nice piece about this and mapped out all the solutions. See the link below:

    Success!

Our son and daughter-in-law are here from Bangkok. They have proof of their vaccination there with them and so far they are allowed everywhere with that proof and their passport.

    Peter,

Make an appointment online NOW at an RNI counter to register her as a non-resident. Choose a counter where you can go quickly after her arrival. She will then receive a citizen service number (BSN) that she needs to receive official proof of vaccination from the GGD region of Utrecht.
Also fill in the consent form.
    https://www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/wonen-werken/registratie-niet-ingezetenen/inschrijven-in-de-rni/contact-rni-gemeente

Make an appointment by telephone for a visit (as soon as possible after the visit to the RNI desk) to the Customer Contact Center of the GGD region of Utrecht tel: 030-8002899
    https://www.ggdru.nl/over-de-ggd/nieuws-en-persberichten/nieuwsbericht/artikel/10000-vaccinatiebewijzen-uit-meer-dan-60-landen

Take her to Utrecht to get her vaccination officially registered. The GGD office is close to Central Station. Test pavilion B Jaarbeurs (every day between 9.00:17.00 am and 8.30:17.00 pm) or in the Municipal Office (Monday to Thursday between XNUMX:XNUMX am and XNUMX:XNUMX pm). The vaccination certificate/QR code will then be sent to an e-mail address of your choice (and an SMS with password to a telephone number of your choice) or issued on paper.

If she has a suitable smartphone, install the CoronaCheck app on it.
Scan/load the international QR code with the app.
If she cannot install the app, she must be able to show the paper receipt with the QR code for access.
The paper evidence looks like this: https://coronacheck.nl/img/printbewijs.png
or the top image of: https://www.rijksoverheid.nl/binaries/rijksoverheid/documenten/publicaties/2021/06/29/handleiding-hkvi/technische-handleiding-HKVI.pdf

    Success.

      No response yet (from Pieter).
I have just checked when the first possible appointment can be made at the RNI desks.
An e-mail must be sent for Alkmaar.
You must call for Amsterdam, Leiden and Zwolle. (Leiden: fully booked until Dec. / no appointment possible.)
      Online:
Breda, Rotterdam and Westland: fully booked / no appointment possible.
Utrecht: possible today (21-10 16:20 pm and 17:50 pm).
      Goes: possible tomorrow (22-10 8:45 a.m.).
The Hague: 24-02-2022 14:15h What an embarrassment!
The rest between 02-11 (Heerlen) and 23-12 (Eindhoven).
These are hourly rates. In a few hours it can be very different due to canceled and booked appointments.

The GGD Utrecht also has waiting times, so make an appointment with them well in time.

    Hello

I am going back from Thailand to the Netherlands on November 4 and I have been vaccinated in Thailand. I emailed the Ministry of the Interior and they gave me this phone number
+31308002899. It's in Utrecht and you have to show up on the spot to get a corana pass. Maybe you should call here

    • TheoB says up

      Yes Jan Gaal,

That is the telephone number of the Customer Contact Center of the GGD region of Utrecht, which I already gave above.
At the GGD region of Utrecht, someone who has been vaccinated in a country outside the EU can convert the proof of this into an official proof of vaccination for the Netherlands.
But ... for that, that person must have a BSN or at least be a citizen of the EU+.
So Pieter's Thai mother-in-law must first make sure that she personally reports to an RNI counter to register in the Register of Non Residents and to obtain a BSN.
