Rabo scanner no longer works?
Dear readers,
For years I have been arranging my banking from the Netherlands via Rabobank, logging into the computer via the Rabo scanner. Unfortunately, it has now decided to stop so that I can no longer transfer money.
Now I understand that I can change my login method to a 5-number code or log in via my phone, but I have to register my device first. And that must be done via a scan via my no longer working Rabo scanner,
Hence my question if there is anyone in the vicinity of Roi-et city who owns a Rabo scanner that still works?
And who is willing to let me use it for a while so that I can change my login method and then take care of my financial affairs again.
That would help me tremendously.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Andrie

The scanner is probably still working, but the batteries are empty. If you have replaced the batteries, check that they are not empty. In Thailand people sometimes sell empty batteries that have been on the shelf for a few years or have been stored too warm. You can test batteries with a multimeter, which you can buy at Lazada for 120 baht.
Good day,
I am close to Roi Et town..
And have a working RABO scanner.
How can I reach you?
Hello Peter,
My email address is [email protected]
thanks in advance
Andrie
Peter,
Thanks for your comment. My email: [email protected]
thanks in advance
Andrie
Batteries are 99% the problem spinning around in the compartment is often enough.
If it is not the case, request a new one from your Rabobank.
They will send it to the address known to your bank.
Just fill in Google 'request rabo scanner abroad'.
Dear Andrew,
Did it work with new batteries as Peter indicates?
If not send me an Email I have a few lying around that do work

Dear Andrew,
I have had many problems with the rabo scanner, for a year.
they arose when people started working with the QR code. The login code kept flying out.
the rabo has a breakdown service that you can reach via messenger. however, they always assume that the problem is not with them, but with the customer.
There are now 5 scanners here, forced from them with difficulty.
Suddenly in March of this year everything suddenly became much better, there is nothing left about the QR code. In principle they wanted to get rid of the scanners, but they opted for eggs for their money.
they fixed it, i can now work with it like old times.
on the scanner are a few leds on which you can read the state of the batteries,

I have a working RABO scanner.
Is close to Roi Et city..
How can I reach you?
I have a spare scanner. If you send me your address I can lend you my spare. Please send it back afterwards
Hi Andrie
Still have a rabo scanner here.
Recently canceled my rabo account.
Can you get for free.
Note, if the chips of your rabopas are dirty, the scanner will not work either.
My email [email protected]
Have one here and you can get it for free but you can pick it up here Banpruegratiem, near Bangrakam
Thank you all for your quick responses. I am in contact with 2 people. That should work.
Thanks again
Andrie
With the new Rabo scanner you can no longer replace batteries unfortunately, and you have to request a new one in the Netherlands 20 euros, yes everything is about money
Also order a new Rabo scanner from the Rabobank in the Netherlands and have it sent to you
Dear Andrew,
Rabobank has advised me, due to fraud, NOT to do my banking with my mobile phone. My scanner also refused to work, it turned out that with new batteries everything was fine again.
