Dear readers,

I'm going back to Thailand in a few weeks, one last question.

When I return to Thailand I have been asked to contact a psychologist to put my problems into words. In the monastery where I stay temporarily there is little or no time to talk to me, I completely understand, I also want to solve everything myself Self-healing.

What if it doesn't work? Does anyone know a good psychologist in Bangkok or the Nakhon Pathom area and does anyone know the costs?

Visit my health insurance company today with the same question.

Thank you very much if it is posted.

Best regards,

Anja

Is it advisable for someone with a Dutch background (I think at least) to have an in-depth healing conversation with a psychologist with a Thai background (I assume) while both of you can't speak to each other in your native language?

Emotions are best expressed in the mother tongue; then the listening side must also be able to pick up those emotions in that language. Maybe if you're both fluent in English or otherwise you'll be fine, I hope it's for you.

I wish you much success and progress during your stay here.

A good friend of mine works at the PSI center in BKK.

    All Western certified professionals.

If necessary, you can contact counselor Mrs. Johanna de Koning tel.081-7542350, who works at NCS in Bangkok. Have a website for more info.

      Thank you so much Malee,
Hope it's not necessary, but I'll jot down the number.
I visited the health insurance company and was told that the consultation is reimbursed for 75% in the Netherlands,

    SKYPE?
If you want an interview with a psy, best 1 who uses Western psychology, because that is probably also your frame of mind.

In the Bumrungrad Hospital you can receive guidance from doctors who are also trained in the west.
