Problems with Mor Chana on Android
Dear readers,
My friend is leaving for Thailand on December 4 and is trying to install the Mor Chana app on his cell phone (LG – Android). I myself have had no problems installing this app (via the apple app store on my iPhone). But he can't find any app with this name in Google play store.
How can this problem be solved? I myself have tried to find it via the google website, but only links to Apple are listed. A shown QR code for this app also works from the iPhone, but again in no way from the Android.
Can you help us with this please? Thank you.
Regards,
Eveline
Editors: Do you have a question for the readers of Thailandblog? Use it contact form..
Outdated versions of Android can no longer download some modern apps.
These apps will therefore not be visible in the playstore.
You can try to find the app on a laptop, then copy the link and forward it.
Then try to open the app from the store with the phone in question.
You may receive a message that this app is not available/functioning for that phone.
Furthermore, I have no experience with Mor Chana app.
Success.
This question was also asked yesterday. Maybe look back?
Use aptoide as alternative google playstore.
Dear Dirk, has been in the Phuket Sandbox program since last Saturday. But also here locally the App cannot be downloaded. Continuous malfunction. The alternative is to provide an "off-line" visible image of your passport, problem solved. Where necessary, fill in your name and passport number. on a subscription list. Then they check this by looking at your passport image or take a photo of your phone with passport image. In Thai style, everything has a solution. Love this country. Greetings from Phuket, where everything is picking up steam again, only the farang. Estimate that we are now at 15 to 20% of the normal number of tourists.
I haven't read the answers from yesterday's blog.. I myself tried to install the MorChana app from GooglePlay on my android phone Samsung A52 and that went without a hitch..
I had reported the same issue but it has now been resolved thanks to a response from Wino and it worked

For android devices you can find the mor chana app in the aptoide app store. https://digital-government-development-agency-thailand.nl.aptoide.com/app
Yes Ronny (C?),
And I had already answered that on October 30th to Ronny C's question.

But the app is already available in the Play Store.

The current version (2.1.4) is suitable for Android 5.0 and higher.
