Reader question: Overwintering in Jomtien with children
Good day,
French friends of ours, here in France, want to go to Jomtien for three months next winter with two adults and two small children.
Travel agencies sell trips of a few weeks and not three months. In addition, most accommodations are for only two people. What options do they have and where can I find them?
Many thanks in advance.

Have a look here. By the way, there are dozens of providers for apartments in Pattaya. Just search for Pattaya apartments for rent or similar
greetings cor duran
It is best to just buy return plane tickets and then rent a house or an apartment with multiple bedrooms. is all possible. There are various sites on the internet with houses or apartments. In Jomtien you have the two large towers next to each other and there are many apartments for rent, close to the beach and the boulevard.
Hello,
buy 3-month tickets; with small children direct flight is best (no loss of time).
Then 2 rooms in a hotel: special prices for the longer term.
But perhaps better: renting a flat/house: more spacious, own kitchenette, more freedom: plenty of offers; pool if possible. Also here special price for rent for a longer period of time. Google: “rent condo Jomtien”.
Jomtien is not a bad choice by the way: not too far from the airport, with the bus every hour direct bus line from the airport (ground floor) to Jomtien Thappraya Road, plenty of family-friendly attractions in the area and close to Pattaya Park (for the children),
Hi,
it's as simple as bonjour…if you know how it goes…
1 Book a cheap flight, visa for three months through the French consulate and Google for an apartment or cottage.
Interesting and beneficial:

..and remember Thailand is addictive, once you've been there you'll always want to go back..
Hallo,
I would never go to Jomtien with 2 kids very busy. A better destination in Thailand with children is Hua Hin, where you can rent a house or apartment through Hua Hin Japan .com, a good and reliable real estate agency and if you stay for 3 months, the price will be slightly reduced. So applying for a visa ensures that you do not stay away for longer than 3 mm with your return ticket, otherwise you will have to leave the country again very cumbersome with children. It is necessary to book your ticket as soon as possible, the longer you wait, the more expensive it will be. Have fun.

Why would you go to Hua Hin with children and not to Pattaya? What does Hua Hin have to offer for children, who probably won't do you any favors with temples, etc. and three months on the beach is also a bit too much.
Pattaya/Jomtien and the surrounding area has a lot to offer for families with children. There are countless attractions where children can go very well and have fun. Just search the Internet and the choice for Pattaya/Jomtien will not be difficult.
