Dear readers, a question.

A Thai woman has been admitted to the guest house for pneumonia during their trip there. Can the man apply for an extension of his visa at immigration because his 30 days expire? And stay with her until she's discharged?

It is his Thai wife. Or should he leave the country without his wife?

Go to immigration and explain the problem there.
Ask the hospital for proof that the lady in question cannot/may not travel.
Immigration alone can answer your question.

Go to immigration with a letter from the doctor treated, if necessary, if possible, take someone with you who can assist you in the Thai language, do not get angry, do not threaten, swear, etc., just be calm and, above all, very polite stay against the official, then it usually works out.
You do have a chance that you will have to report to the office more often, until you have left.
