Dear readers,

Can someone tell us where in Cha am the motorcycle license can be renewed? It has changed but no one here in Cha am knows where that can happen now…

Greetings,

Dine

Must be in Petchaburi I think, https://www.dlt.go.th/site/phetchaburi/

No, you don't have to go that far. Pranburi is a lot closer to Cha'am… You can do it there too. The office for this is best reached if you drive to the intersection, where you will see Tesco Lotus on the left. There you turn right (better a U-Turn and the next street left again). You then drive another 500 meters and the office is on the left.

This is possible in Na-Yang, which is located behind Cha-am when coming from Hua Hin. The department of transport is located here.
If you drive over the bypass towards the Outlet, you will get a pedestrian bridge over the road at some point. Just past this bridge you have to take the first U-turn and after about 200 meters the exit to the department. Good luck

Thank you. Do you also know whether you will immediately receive the health certificate from the doctor or do you first have to get it from the Thai CBR?

Indeed Khun, Na Yang falls under Cha-Am district. I recently saw that just before the exit you mentioned, a new sign has even been placed with reference to the department.
