Dear readers,

My stepson is going to college in Thailand next year when he will be 19 years old. What is the cost to get him to study? So school fees for 1 year. He would like to become an electrician.

That depends on many factors.
1. State school or private school.
2. Small school or big school.
3. School in a city or in the middle of nowhere.
It is best to contact the school where you would prefer your son to study.

Hallo,

My wife's son completed his studies in electro (or similar) at a technical college in Chai Badan district this year.
He first completed a 3-year training there and then an additional 2 years.
He is now 21 years old.

We paid about 11.000 every six months. Sometimes the teacher asked for something extra if they wanted to do something special. So about 25.000 school fees per year.

He went to school on a moped. About 25km one way. We paid him 150 baht for gas and food at school. About 4.000 baht per month.
