Dear readers,

Does the entry in the yellow housebook entitle a farang to participate in local elections (such as the election of a village head or municipal council)?

Does anyone have experience with that?

Regards,

Joop

No. Don't give you any rights.
The yellow Tabien job is only proof that your address is known to the Thai administration.
Handy if you are asked somewhere to prove your address.
