Reader question: Is there a website with pictures of houses that you can have built in Thailand?
Dear readers,
I read about building a house in Thailand, maybe I overlooked it? Is there also a website with pictures of houses that you can buy?
I did find a site with teak houses. Is there also one with stone houses or stone houses at the bottom and teak wood at the top.
Please comments.
Greetings,
John
I think it is on Thaivisa, with complex building plans of "bungalows".
Find a contractor yourself, but good construction drawings and prices.
I'll see if I can find the wires....
No photos, but computer drawings with standard Thai plans ready to give to your contractor….

Hello John,
I built a house 3 years ago. I got my inspiration from a (Thai) book in which about 150 houses with photos and dimensions were depicted. One image appealed to me and I then modified it a bit on my own drawing (map). I then had a construction drawing made of it in Thailand and selected a contractor. Worked great!
On various websites you can download already approved construction drawings for free.
These drawings are locally accepted and approved by the government.
Contractors also build these houses, from simple to extensive, with pleasure and for a reasonable price.
Just google it, in English.
Maybe this is something to start with, they also indicate another site, but it is only in Thai.

I built my house in Phitsanulok myself
Made a report on this on my home page
Maybe it will help you

My e-mail is also listed there, so if you want to know more, just e-mail me
regards computing
john,
I have very good experience with royalhouse.co.th
Just have a look at their website, more than 100 different types from simple to complete palaces. The prices are only building prices, so without land, but including electricity, water, glass-tight and floor tiles (provisional post) and paintwork, so without lamps and you have to arrange the connection to the public road and garden yourself.
We had a house built that I designed myself on the computer, so far it went well, but then the construction, a lot went wrong and constantly staying there, better rent a house. Look before you leap.
Dear John.
I am also working on building in Khonkaen Thailand .
And did the following.
Went to a bookstore at BIG C in Khonka, and there they have a book series of 6 pieces per book arranged by model, ground floor, first-floor homes, etc. Per book I think 40/45 different houses with different target prices.
There we bought a book with the type of house we wanted (ground floor), then selected a house and took it to a reliable contractor (he has already built many houses for foreigners with all satisfied customers) because the house have it adjusted and made 20 m2 larger. he then requested the construction drawings and made the adjustments and had them checked by the architect, then applied for permits and now approved.
Target price in the book 1,32 million THB after the adjustments and enlargement, an agreed price of 1,2 million THB completely complete. If you would like to see photos of the house please email me so I can send them to you. [email protected] tel 0641716157 with kind regards Ben
Have a look at: http://www.Baan Chom Thung.th
Marc Vermeulen is working on a beautiful plan there, is Dutch and has also built the large Shopping complex in Chiang Mai (Promonada)
He arranges everything there and sees to it that the papers are also in order.
(Marc, will also live there himself)
Greetings and success: Piet de Ruiter
Dear Pete,
The stated website url is incorrect ! What's the good one? Thank you..

Today or tomorrow my house in the Isaan will be delivered. Have a reliable contractor who also remodeled my condo in Jomtien. Where do you want to build and what about the land (which you CANNOT own)? knowing more: [email protected]
Hi John. We have built a new house.
High quality and in a beautiful setting.
Under Dutch supervision.

Worth taking a look.
Good luck Anne.
Hi, I think it also depends on where you want to sit. If in Hua Hin then http://www.thailandwoonland.nl/ nice to look at. Three show houses/models and they can then be adjusted as desired, I believe. Ask there, otherwise.
Success!

We had our house built in Isaan http://www.alanthebuilder.com/. Very good build quality. See the website to get some ideas.
They keep to the agreed price and speak perfect English.
This page of the site “Living In Thailand” also seems interesting reading.

Photos alone are of little use if you want to build a house or have it built.
The contractor needs approved construction drawings.

I found the “Building a House in Thailand” page of the “Living in Thailand” site interesting reading.
