Reader question: Eight days in Hua Hin
Dear readers,
We have been coming to Thailand since 1992, but believe it or not we have never been to Hua Hin! In October 2018 we planned our trip for 6 weeks Thailand, Laos and Myanmar.
We also want to stay in Hua Hin for a day or 8 (apartment condo or hotel, but have no idea where we should be in Hua Hin (which part of Hua Hin) is there a kind of center? Which beach is recommended, etc.
Hopefully you can help us on our way in Hua Hin.
Regards,

It just depends on what you're looking for. I have lived in Hua Hin for 8 years now and know the place a little. In what price range, beach or not, luxury or simple, easily accessible or in the jungle. Independent or dependent? Something to find for everyone. But Hua Hin is about 20 by 76 kilometers, so some preference makes it easier.
In Hua Hin,
you go to Nilawan Guest House , is perfect and 50 meters from the most beautiful beach .
Totally agree. Have been going there for several years and if everything is full, then there is enough in the same street
accommodation.
We have been coming to Hua Hin for years and prefer the old center close to bars, cozy eateries, night market and beach. You can go anywhere with the 10 bath van or tuk. We always stay at the City Beach hotel. Simple, clean and good value for money. EU 42 per night incl. Breakfast.
Hopefully this information will help you and have fun .
book a hotel between the Hilton hotel and the monkey rock. That is the nice beach of Hua Hin. Near the Hilton Hotel you also have the center up to the railway line. Markets, restaurants and shopping malls within walking distance or for very little money from the 2 ride van (10 bath per person).
Nilawan guesthouse.
Perfect !
If you want to be in a quiet place close to the center, near the night market and a 10-minute walk from the beach, Hostel The Moon is recommended. Clean and not expensive.
in Hua Hin diagonally opposite the impressive Hilton hotel and near the sea, I stayed 3/4 years ago for 500 Thb in a beautiful guesthouse that stands with its feet in the sea and so people are lulled to sleep with the rising or falling tide … all rooms are made of wood and this beautiful geushouse is located next to the beautiful large terraces where you can eat very tasty seafood. cheap and really beautiful to experience this. air conditioning or fan rooms, you can choose, but because this is located on the sea, you don't even need air conditioning.
