Dear readers,

Who has a house/condo for long-term rent in the Nakhon Si Thammarat area?

I go to Nakhon Si Thammarat every 3 months for 2-3 weeks and would rather have a permanent place in this area instead of staying in a hotel.

Regards,

Marc

    Hi Marc,
Just moved to Hua Hin for school for the kids. Our house in Nakhon si Thammarat/Phipun is now empty. Rural, but new house in traditional style with European comforts, 2 bedrooms. Possibly moped available.
If it sounds like you, let me know.

    Yours faithfully,
    Willem

Willem, thanks for the quick response. I am interested in your house in Phipun. Now I am leaving on Sunday and will be in Nakhon from September 22 to 25, then I will go to Koh Lanta and Ao Nang. This is of course very short notice to make an appointment. However, you can email me at [email protected], then I will give you my Thai phone number or this of my girlfriend. Photos are of course very welcome.
      Greetings Marc

    Hi Marc,

Are you looking for a house in Nakhon Si Thammarat city or Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Otherwise, contact Khanom Hill in Khanom, an hour's drive from Nakhon Si Thammarat town, they have houses for rent on the beach, you can rent a car or scooter in Khanom.

    Yours faithfully,

    Monique

    Hello William
Never knew that people of "Dutch" origin lived or have lived in Phipun?
I sit/sat section at the khlong din daeng at the 4224.

Hmm very coincidental but you never seen there or on the market?

      Hi Rori,
Coincidentally, I have seen something/someone at a distance on the side of the water there, but I have no business there. Maybe that was you? I didn't immediately come across as suspicious.
Furthermore, never heard of a farang in that area, not even from my extended in-laws or the neighbors. Until 3 weeks ago I bumped into an American at the Tesco in Phipun. He was also surprised to see a Westerner and only said he knew of 1 other, but when he met one, he refused to say anything to him. With no doubles, there are already 4 and my two sons are each counted for half, we end up with 5! Hmm…. Surprising eh?
