    Dear Carl,

I don't know of a hospital in Hua Hin where they can read a pacemaker, but I do know in Bangkok:

RAJVITHEE Hospital, Department of Dr Sutham
I have a pacemaker from St. Jude Medical, placed at Rajvithee Hospital in 2009.

Rajvithee hospital is located at the Victory Monument and therefore very easy to find. From Hua Hin there are minibuses which have their arrival and departure point just behind the corner of the hospital.

In Bangkok there is also a St Jude sales point where you will certainly be able to get the necessary information:
    St. Jude Medical (Thailand) Co.,
Ltd. Rasa Tower II 17th floor, Unit 1704
    555 Phaholyothin Road
    Chatuchak
    Bangkok 10900

    Regards,
    Lung addie

    a good friend of mine (from the US) had his pacemaker read in Pattaya (the Bangkok Pattaya Hospital) last year; there this option is available for several of the approximately 8 most important brands;
went smoothly in a few hours.

Halo Carl, I have my own pacemaker, which I have read,
In bangkok at the stlouis hospital at the satorn rd bts station surasak.
However, the pacemaker specialist will only come on Saturdays and make an appointment
Seems best to me, the guy is always fully booked.
The costs at the St. Louis hospital are low, and the cardiac department is well known.
The Dutch from Pattaya even come here. They are also much cheaper, and better
Speaking from experience than that of this person. Bangkok hospitals.
Expensive and they always find something they need to investigate further if necessary
    Pure business

According to our Dutch information, this is only possible in Bangkok. We needed this info because we are currently back in Thailand, and my travel buddy recently got a pacemaker.

Reading a pacemaker is not really rocket science anymore, a portable kind of PC is needed for that. Would just inquire at Bangkok Hua Hin, they should be able to do that there. Or they just let that device go that way.

    Hua avenue,
It is correct that the reading can be done with a mobile device,
But development does not stand still considering that Boston Scientific,
Now that it has launched its latest pacemaker, which also allows you to enter the MRI,
If necessary, but as said, reading is indeed possible, you will get
A cord hung around your neck, and the device displays the details, En
Also makes a scan, which the physiologist can read directly.
    This addition.
