Reader Question: Hua Hin in July or August?
Dear readers,
I have been going to Hua Hin in February with my daughter and grandson for several years. Now my grandson doesn't get any extra time off from school and we want to go in
the month of July or August.
Are there people who live in Hua Hin who can tell us if there are chairs on the beach then? How is the temperature and whether all markets and restaurants are open?
Hope to get some good tips here.

I may not be a beachgoer, but I do know that it hardly makes any difference in which of those months you come. Both are warm months and Hua Hin is more or less open all year round…
Have been in August. Occasional small rain showers in the afternoon. We even stayed on the beach. A different heat than in February. More humid and oppressive heat but certainly manageable. We have already been to Hua Hin in various periods and almost never had any rain, but a thunderstorm but of short duration.
We regularly go to our house in Hua Hin. And indeed, offer months are warm but nice to be there. We have been both at the beginning of the year and half of the year at the end of the year. All markets that are open in February are also open during this period. Plenty to experience all year round in this beautiful Thai royal city. Have fun 😉
