Reader question: I am looking for a hotel/condo in Khon Kaen or Udon Thani for a longer period of time
Dear readers,
In December I will go back to Thailand for three months. After always staying in Chiang Mai I would love to stay in Khon Kaen and Udon Thani.
I am looking for a hotel or an apartment on a monthly basis that I can rent without an intermediary (rent + costs = about 10.000 Bath).
Regards,
Christian
Hallo,
Have a look at the website: [email protected]
Prices etc. are all mentioned and it is a nice stay.Vr.Gr
Dear Christian,
maybe this is for you in Udon Thani.
http://www.countryview-resort.com
Dear Christian,
In Khon Kaen province I would recommend an apartment. E.g. Here in Chum Phae you can rent a fully furnished apartment from 3000-6000 Baht (with air conditioning). Costs at most 1000 Baht. They can be rented per month and give you a lot of freedom. Many also have a restaurant where you can have a nice breakfast / meal for little. You can always email me if necessary.
Dear Christian
My wife has a condo on Maliwan Road in Khon Kaen.
10000 baht per month
Deposit 2 months
You can also email me: [email protected]
Try at The Cotton Apartment in Khon Kaen, bedroom and bathroom, air con. You will certainly come along with that amount.
My wife and I paid just under 10.000 baht a month. You have to clean your room yourself.
I do have a house for rent in Nonthaburi
I don't know much about woom opportunity in Udon Thani.
In Khon Kaen, the range of condos is overwhelming.
Depending on what your wishes are, you can choose in the city of Khon Kaen in the price ranges between 2000 baht to …………
You make the choice yourself.
Advice: if more than one month deposit is requested, next offer.
Looking around for a day, accompanied by someone who knows Khon Kaen, will save you a lot of money and aggravation.
It is, so to speak, a “tenant market”.
There is so much supply that half of the rental condos are empty.
Succes
I forgot to tell you that you can make very nice deals in various hotels.
Half price per day if you book a week, pay for two days and stay for three days.
A hotel near the station offers rooms for 280 baht per night with breakfast.
It is of course not a three-star hotel, but it is clean, neat, and with decent staff.
Choice was.
Regularly go for a long weekend with a partner.
Can't really sleep at home for it.
Dear Christian
My girlfriend lives in kaosuankwang and this is located between khon kaen and udon thani, this is a village on the main road from khon kaen to udon thani, about 50 km from khon kaen and 80 km from udon thani.
The new zoo is located in khao suan kwang.
My friend's sister rents out houses at 3000 bath per month + the costs of electricity and water.
The cottages are about 2 years old.
For more information you can email me: [email protected] or you can call me +32477770616
Or you can contact her directly
she speaks fluent english and is very friendly , she is a teacher
See her details here

you can also rent a motorbike there and I think they charge 2500 baht per month for that

Christian... I lived in Udon Thani for a year and rented a villa in Ban Sookasem resort... a resort where almost only foreigners stay. I rented a beautiful villa with a lot of garden around it, 7000 bath electricity and water, about 1500 baht. internet if you wish and it is very quiet and about 10 minutes by scooter to the city and big c and macro... hope it is of some use to you
2 bathrooms two bedrooms…
Thank you Hans for the information. Is it possible to inform me the name of the hotel near the station.
Regards, Christian
Christian,
The partner approached the hotel and initially received information at the desk.
Indeed, per day so 280 baht, on a monthly basis.
The manager called her back and suggested:
– room with light breakfast (egg, bread, coffee);
– Clean bed linen and towels twice a week;
– Washing and ironing your personal items;
– Daily cleaning of the room.
8000 baht per month.
I think you can join the breakfast buffet for a few hundred baht.
The name of the hotel is PP-BIZ hotel. (formerly PP hotel)
Totally renovated recently after takeover by the new owner.
Neat and above all clean rooms, not too small and not too big, with an excellent bed, TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, wardrobe, support for the suitcase, bedside lamps,
Also a restaurant in an adjacent building, and if you like karaoke, is present in the same adjacent building.
Large guarded parking, if you have or rent a car.
Opposite the hotel is a fine restaurant with Isan dishes.
Not to be sniffed at.
Close to the center of Khon Kaen, I estimate a ten minute walk and you are in the middle of the entertainment district.
If you are interested, let me know, always willing to assist.
The partner's name is Jum, she made the arrangements, especially mention her name when you report to the desk.
PS
We get absolutely no commission or anything.
The partner, despite being Thai, hates to put off foreigners.
And she thinks it's a sport to "negotiate".

In Udon Thani there is a private hospital and they even rent out rooms per month. Easy in case of problems, you are immediately on site. Walking distance to shopping center in town
exactly Christian, the name of the hospital is AEK UDON APPARTMENTS, you can find it on the Google site
I also stayed there for a number of months, 5000 bath per month, everything very nice and clean and you have everything you need... and indeed within walking distance of the center of Udon Thani, very easy to recommend!!!
