Reader question: Getting a flu jab in Thailand

Dear readers,

Got a flu shot in November 2015. At the village they give the flu shot in June (2016). Does anyone know if it's a problem if it's only 7 months apart?
Is June also a better time for the flu shot than November?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Hans

    Hi Hans,

    You may want to read this before getting your next flu shot.

    The flu shot contains the following toxins:
    •ethylene glycol - this is antifreeze;
    •phenol – this is a disinfectant;
    • formaldehyde – this is a carcinogen;
    • aluminum – these are particles that affect your brain cells;
    •thimerosal or mercury – this is a disinfectant that affects the immune system and causes brain damage;
    • neomycin and streptomycin - these are antibiotic substances that cause allergic reactions.

    Years in a row I also receive an invitation to get that “healthy” shot.
    Let it pass me by, don't have to have that filth in my body.

    Just dug this up from my mail archive:

    Flu jab works less in older people | Science | de Volkskrant

    16 hours ago … The flu shot is less effective in the elderly. Everyone over the age of 60 will receive a call around this time to get vaccinated against the flu. But the vaccine has right

      This is typically a “Sandwich Monkey”. The vaccine consists of dead pieces of viruses. The flu vaccine contains rendered pieces of the flu virus variants expected in the upcoming winter season.

    Dear,
    That jab in the month of June poses no danger if your previous injection was only 7 months ago: the virus has now genetically changed and it should therefore be a different vaccination.
    There is also no problem if you get the same shot rather quickly after the previous one: your immune system is already up to scratch. But why would you want the same pirk twice?

    After all: the vaccine against the upcoming flu has only just been developed and is almost not yet in production. I suspect that your new shot is still with the previous vaccine and then ... well then you have 2 shots for the same viral infection. So it can't hurt, but in that case it won't have any effect.

    Influenza is active in Thailand during the rainy season. Vaccination gives protection for about half a year.

      Here in Thailand I have the flu with high fever, runny nose (not my name) and cough every year and I lie moaning and groaning on my bed. Believe me, you will be so sick that you will think about euthanasia. That's how bad the flu is here. Now I say something that will meet with various denials and I will not enter into a discussion about it, but in Thailand you can buy medicines or pills against the flu and after a day you are almost rid of it. Except for the running nose because it lasts about three days. Medicine shops also have medicines against the flu.

        That's a monkey sandwich story. Flu is a viral infection and there are no medicines against a virus. Tamiflu and Relenza are the only antivirals and even those can only shorten the duration of the infection.
        Of course you can also stand in front of the train, then you will be rid of the flu in 1 time.

    It has also never been proven that a flu shot works. No research has ever been done into this.

    Like Martien, I completely agree not to get a flu shot because of the ingredients.
    I belong to the risk group and have received an invitation. Because I didn't show up, I received a personal call from the GP. Had to explain to the secr. that I didn't want to take it and mentioned what Martien wrote. She looked very surprised, butrrrrrr it was free!!!

    No one had ever said thank you for it again. Like docile sheep you can see them here up to 15 meters. waiting in line outside. Say that jokingly, there is something “free” to be picked up again.

    Another addition to Martien's story. The body does not break down mercury, it then accumulates in the body.

    I was told that a bad bout of flu was worse than all those ingredients, so I should think about it again. Initially it is not certain whether you will get the flu and it is always stated in the newspaper that unfortunately the flu shot was not for the right flu. So everyone stood in that long line for nothing. 🙂

      Maybe this is an alternative to the flu shot?

      Supplement with vitamin D halves risk of flu
      If you take 1200 IU of vitamin D3 every day, your chance of falling ill with the flu is halved. Japanese epidemiologists at Jikei University School of Medicine reported this in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.

      In the Northern Hemisphere, the amount of vitamin D in the blood is lower in winter than in summer. We don't have to explain why that is. Scientists suspect that this lower vitamin D level is the cause of the flu waves, which invariably start in November and rage into the early summer.
      Supplement with vitamin D halves risk of flu
      If you come down with the flu, it is usually the work of a variant of the influenza A virus. Influenza A is also generally more aggressive than other flu viruses.
      Study
      The researchers decided to test that theory. If vitamin D is indeed a relevant factor in whether or not you get the flu, they reasoned, supplementation with vitamin D in the winter months should protect against the influenza A virus.

      The researchers experimented with two groups of 167 schoolchildren aged 6-15 each. From December 15 to March 31, one group took a placebo every day, and the other 1200 IU of vitamin D3. That's the same as 30 micrograms of vitamin D3.
      Results
      The children who took vitamin D fell prey to the influenza A virus half as often. In addition, the supplement protected the students against asthma attacks. The incidence of asthma attacks was six times lower in the children taking vitamin D than in the placebo group.

      Conclusion

      “In conclusion, our study suggests that vitamin D3 supplementation during the winter season may reduce the incidence of influenza A,” the researchers summarize. “Moreover, asthma attacks were also prevented by vitamin D3 supplementation.”
      “Future studies should include a larger sample size of schoolchildren without comorbidities to determine the optimal dose and duration of vitamin D supplementation by measurement of serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D, serum and urinary calcium, and titers of antibody to influenza levels.”

        In addition, the flu vaccine becomes less and less effective with age. Also see: http://www.volkskrant.nl/wetenschap/griepprik-werkt-minder-bij-oudere~a4208337/

    My personal opinion is that the healthy human body can provide sufficient resistance to the flu virus. I myself was last vaccinated against flu 50 years ago. The result was seven days of flu with vaccination and one week of flu without vaccination. Never been vaccinated since. I don't even remember the last time I really had the flu. Now my experience will not apply to everyone. It strongly depends on the person's immune system. But whether vaccination of, for example, healthy people over 60 is really effective?

    Here's a mini lecture from Professor Pim van Gool: https://www.gezondheidsraad.nl/nl/grip-op-griep

    Getting the flu is not a bad thing at all, at least for normal, healthy people with normal resistance.
    Nowhere (at least not in Belgium) are healthy people advised to get a shot.
    It is recommended for people at risk. These are usually people with reduced resistance. That is why it is also free for at-risk people in Belgium.
    It is not the flu that usually causes damage, but the complications surrounding it due to reduced resistance, such as pneumonia, etc.

    Healthy people who are advised to have a flu shot is only for economic reasons.
    You still get the flu, but you recover faster because you have already built up antibodies. So you can get back to work faster.

    A person who really has the flu is simply out of the world because of a fever.
    Many people confuse flu with feeling flu, which is certainly unpleasant, but has nothing to do with flu.

    Why the jab in Thailand is now and not in November?.
    The flu prevails a few months earlier in the East, and arrives later in Europe. Not only the sun rises in the East, but also the flu.
    For us around February, in the east this starts around this time in China with the pigs. The vaccine for Europe is then formulated based on these data and expectations. Normally available in September/October.

    Dear Khan Peter,

    I just read the article. The conclusions are drawn from subgroups of children.
    That's called cherry picking. It's like flipping a coin a hundred times, counting only the number of times heads fall and then claiming heads always come up.
    It is a well-known way of cheating, used by BigPharma, but also by Big Alternative
    If you want to know exactly what it is, I advise you to read Ben Goldacre's book Bad Sciences. It opens your eyes, makes your ears flap, and makes your hair stand on end. It shows how all kinds of research is manipulated, both on the mainstream and on the alternative side. He is the thorn in the side of the pill industries, which incidentally lost all lawsuits against him. The book reads like a thriller, just like his book BadPharma. Enjoy reading.

    Below is the full conclusion from the article.

    Conclusion: This study suggests that vitamin D3 supplementation
    during the winter may reduce the incidence of influenza A, especially
    in specific subgroups of schoolchildren. This trial was registered
    at https://center.umin.ac.jp as UMIN000001373. Am J

      Hello Maarten, I like to believe that the results of research are being tampered with. The problem is that the pharmaceutical industry does it too. I have read the book 'Deadly drugs and organized crime, behind the scenes of the pharmaceutical industry', by Peter C. Gotzsche. He claims that drugs are the leading cause of death in humans after cancer and cardiovascular disease. It compares the pharmaceutical industry to organized crime. It is shocking to read that the life-threatening side effects are concealed or manipulated. Those who don't know the book: https://www.bol.com/nl/p/dodelijke-medicijnen-en-georganiseerde-misdaad/9200000046075523/
      THE CONCLUSION: You really can't believe anyone anymore. That's why I listen to Hippocrates: "Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food".

    My father got a flu shot every year, belonged to the 60+ risk group. Then he invariably suffered from flu symptoms, wet nose, etc. for a few months, he trusted the doctor like so many others. I never got this shot and never got the flu.
    Each injection of flu vaccine is not only a shot of expected flu virus but also a shot of poison in your body. People who picked up the injection often turn out to have flu symptoms, because the developers were wrong about it. the mutation of the flu virus that was expected and which it has become.
    It's all good for Big Pharma, we are manipulated with so-called preventive injections.
    This also applies to all those other injections that you can get if you live or are going to live in a tropical country.
    What to think, that even Dr. Maarten very honestly recently stated on this blog that since he lives in Thailand, these cocktails are no longer available.
    No flu shot for me and no cocktails either. Influenza is a virus, there is no cure for it is the general statement, and you have to get sick, if you have a healthy body, your immune system is able to heal, it can also be done differently.
    Big Pharma is extremely treacherous, even literally life-threatening, only serves its own interests and their products, called “medicines”, do not cure anything, that is not the intention, then they go out of business.
    Nico B
