My question is about banking, what is the cheapest? For example, sending money to a Thai bank account and debit card once a month. Or regularly debit your Dutch account?

Regards,

Jacks

Wise to Thai bank ... if you can withdraw money from your NL account for free, I would say so 😉

Bring money from the Netherlands and find a good money changer.

    Hello jack,
The easiest thing is to transfer an amount to your own account not once a month, but once in a while. That will only cost you the transfer fee once.
And use free pins or ATM in Thailand.
Each time withdrawing money from your Ned rack from an ATM will cost you Th Bth 220 each time.
    Succes

This subject has been discussed regularly, I use wise to transfer money to my Thai account once per basket and then pins are free (at your own bank). Saves you at least 1 percent compared to debit card payments from your Dutch account

My experience is certainly not to debit your Dutch account abroad, this is very expensive. Simply debit/pay abroad from your local account there. Transferring money from a Dutch account to your account abroad also only costs about 30 euros, so do this as little as possible, I transfer money abroad from my Dutch account about once every 6 months.

I use Wise (old name TransferWise) to transfer to my Thai bank account (KTB). Then I withdraw cash or use the KTB App to transfer money. Not the cheapest, but affordable…

Traditional banks often charge hefty fees.
Transferring money to Thailand via an online transfer, such as a popular provider, is very attractive, for example, Wise.
Cash, which allows the recipient to collect money at a physical location through a code (MTCN)

Depending on the amount, the speed required or the mutual reliability desired.

Have been using Wise for years now for transfers from the Netherlands to my Thai account.
Money is ALWAYS there within 7 to 8 hours; yesterday in 2 minutes.

Open a bank account with Wise and save your money there. Transfer to Thai bank at a favorable rate. A child can do the laundry.
