Reader question: Who knows a lawyer with guts in Pattaya?
Dear readers,
Is there a lawyer in Pattaya with guts or any agency that can help us?
We are a group of owners of a condominium complex who are not satisfied with the services provided by our manager and his committee. Twice so far we have hired a lawyer to audit the records, asked for help to change the manager and the current committee (consisting of family and friends) at the annual general meeting. So far no result has been achieved, the lawyers seem to be wrapped up.
Quick response.
Regards,
Willem
Dear,
I am quite satisfied with the intervention of my lawyer in Jomtien.
Mr. Surasak Klingsmani [email protected] . His office is next to the courthouse on Thappraya road, the road from Pattaya to Jomtien. In the “Royal Hill Resort” building on the first floor on the left. Best to first ask if he (can) help you. It is also better to talk about the fee in advance.
Good luck.
I have had good experiences with ACES Advisors – attorney Rachain Kluanklard, but that was a few years ago, so how it is now…
I also often hear good reports about Siam Legal. No experience with them myself, but an acquaintance of mine once did good business with them.
Hello William,
first buy the booklet with condominium rules (condominium act .....) available at most bookstores and it is written in English and Thai.
It describes exactly what your rights and options are.
With enough supporters you can organize an extra members meeting and vote out the manager and committee. Make sure you know in advance that you have enough supporters (votes) otherwise everything will be done for nothing.
Good luck,
Paul
There is only one who goes through rows and diamonds and that is Markus Klemm, based on thepprasit road, Jomtien. (Thai Low, to soi 8
Good luck!
Peter
I have very good experiences with: http://www.thailegal.co.th/
You should not take a lawyer from the place itself, but better from Chonburi or Bangkok who do not know these persons.
A very good one can be reached on tel; 0819140516 Forgot his name, but he has won 3200 out of 4000 court cases and a lot of experience.
Good luck Colin
Dear Willem,
I had my daughter guided back to the Netherlands and it worked out too. that's something you don't hear often! I have hired a collective of lawyers called Magna Carta (law firm) with an Englishman as a consultant named Peter Mc Carthy, so everything can be done in English. They not only do family matters, but also legal, financial, real estate and accounting. I will give you the address of the company and the contact person”
