Jerry returned from Thailand with his family last Sunday. He has made a travel video about it that he would like to share with the readers of Thailandblog.

Jerry reports the following: This time I focused on traveling with a 4 year old child through Thailand and how beautiful that can be. I think it turned out pretty well and I hear around me that love is splashing from it… It is in any case a nice feel-good film.

We've been to Bangkok, celebrated Song Kran in Kanchanaburi and spent over a week on Koh Kood.
Anyway… I would be honored if you would share it.

Regards,

Jerry

Very nice video, nice and quiet to watch and enjoy, not like some videos where the images shoot past like a rocket.

    Nice video.
But may I make a comment.
Were you also on that rented scooter without a helmet and with a child.
Many complain regularly and rightly so on this weblog, about the Thai who drive irresponsibly without a helmet and with small children on the motorbike.
    Hence my response.

Yes we were. Our child wore a helmet. On Koh Kood you can easily drive around on the scooter. On eg Koh Phangan, just to name a few, I wouldn't do this with a child.

    Artwork!!

Wonderful impression and looks like a happy family and you deserve that. Enjoy it and each other. Life can be beautiful but it is not without dangers. What Jan states is well-intentioned criticism that everyone should take note of. You never forgive yourself if you fall and your child suffers a brain injury or worse. Not to mention your wife and yourself. I haven't driven without a helmet for a day and wouldn't be writing this if I hadn't had a helmet on during my motorcycle accident in the Netherlands. The suffering is often inflicted by others. Life can be over in no time and then a film like that suddenly looks very different. Fortunately, this was spared you. But compliments for this video a souvenir where you still
    enjoy for a long time.

Thanks for the nice compliments from all of you.

To comment on the criticism… Which I do understand, by the way. But I do want to emphasize that our child wore a helmet at all times. We always drove at an 'easy pace'. There is hardly any traffic on Koh Kood, and the roads are good. This was a reason for me and my girlfriend to take a 'risk'. But not our child, he was wearing a helmet.
