I have been married to a Thai woman for 13 years, have my own home in Belgium and here in Thailand we built a house. Next year our grandchild (from my Thai wife) will be 8 years old and we would like to take her to Belgium for a month (April, warmest month in Thailand and school leave), and make it a nice holiday. Are there any special visa requirements? I myself have a retired visa.

My Thai girlfriend has been living in the Netherlands for a while now. Only her son has continued to live in Thailand with his grandmother. Now it appears that he has a delay in his development. He has been to a "normal" hospital for this, where all Thai people can go "for free". They have examined him, which is of course very nice! Only the hospital actually did not want to give the results of the study. According to them, this was only for the school.

My Thai girlfriend has been living in the Netherlands for six months now and has a residence permit, so luckily all those worries are gone. She has a 7-year-old son who we naturally also want to bring to the Netherlands. We hope to be able to start the procedure for his application soon. But now….. Two weeks ago my ex brought our son Max to Thailand without my permission. Three days before she had to appear because Max can't leave the country without my permission. I applied for joint custody 2 weeks ago. The reason I do that now, and not 4 years ago when they came to the Netherlands, is that I assumed then that we had shared custody because her residence permit stated registered partnership.

Ten years ago I married a Thai lady with a three-year-old daughter. The girl is now 14 years old and has been living with me for the last two years. She used to live with her grandmother and came to my house on weekends and holidays. Why she doesn't live with her father or mother and no longer with her grandmother I leave aside for a moment.
