Reader Submission: Celebrating New Year's Eve Together in Hua Hin
Dear readers,
Many Belgians and Dutch traditionally celebrate New Year's Eve in restaurant Philippe. Unfortunately Philippe is closed this year and we started looking for an alternative location.
In our opinion, the Black Lotus Resort dinner was the best choice in terms of value for money. The Black Lotus Resort is located on the road to the Banyan Golf Course south of Hua Hin. They have provided an extensive buffet with a dance orchestra and everything is set up along the fairytale swimming pool. Price pp 1200 baht including glass of sparkling wine at midnight. Drinks are not overly expensive: local beers 75 baht, bottle of red or white Australian wine from 590 baht.
