Dear readers,

A few days ago, Thailand blog reader Aart tipped that the World Cup Football can be watched via TV-Nederland.Asia (www.nl-tv.asia). Click on 'download/trial version' and you will have access to a player with more than excellent TV features, and TV fun, as little or as much as you want. In any case, the performance of Orange can be followed at home.

It is possible that the download attempt is followed by an error message. It may be that firewall or antivirus are interfering. Then type 'nl-tv.asia' in the Google search box, resp. try again at a later time.

The download program offers 8 Dutch channels, 4 Belgian, 8 German, and 2 International channels. An extensive guide of each channel can be clicked open, and detailed information is available for each program. Via a click menu on the right of the screen you can watch one of the 22 channels live with a delay of a few minutes. With the help of the TV Guide, Dutch and Belgian channels can be viewed up to one week ago, the German channels up to 2 weeks ago.

Programs can be recorded on the hard disk of your laptop or PC, and from there, of course, on an HD or USB. So also the matches of the Orange in Brazil. You can watch a program from Ned 1, for example, and at the same time record a film from Arte.

The image is in HQ quality, sound comes very well into the living room if you connect your laptop or PC to your TV via an HDMI cable. Yesterday afternoon I watched the Women's Hockey World Cup Netherlands – Japan (6-1) from Studio Sport Ned 3 dd last Saturday. How much more service do you want?

In short: an absolute asset and alternative for those who would like to get a wider range than other paid or unpaid providers of Dutch TV. In addition, the Belgian expat and pensioner is now also provided for; plus that the range of channels can also be of service to the German speakers among us. But they already have GlobalHdTv, and I think if I look at the entire configuration in such a way that NL-TV.Asia comes from the same stable. In that case, quality is assured. The site does not state how long the trial version may be used, nor what a subscription costs. If interested, please contact yourself.

Yours faithfully,

self

I also downloaded NL-TV and can only agree with what Soi says about image and sound quality and possibilities.

The key question is indeed in the last sentence of Soi's posting, namely, how long does the trial period last and what will it cost. Is it certain that this website will remain operational during the World Cup?

How legal is it all, colossal broadcasting rights are being talked about all over the world and NL-TV does it for free???

Perhaps the agent for Asia, who lives in Pattaya, can shed some light on this himself.

I also downloaded it. Works fine

I'm not going to ask too many questions.
We'll see if it lasts and if it can be done soon for an acceptable amount.

In any case, my first impressions are positive

I don't understand: I installed this NLTV and it worked right away. The next day (and until now) I have sound, but no picture at all. Maybe someone else has this too? No idea how to fix this. I uninstalled it and installed it again, but the result remains "no picture" but "sound"
      Any advice is appreciated.
      Regards,
      gash

This is really (red) devilishly interesting !!!
As a computer layman, I now only have to find an HDMI cable and someone who can connect it.
It would really be a huge asset to the TV offer.
I hope the price will be okay too.
    Sincere thanks for this article.
    Didit.

You can get an HDMI cable in any TV store or computer store. Connecting is unplugging on computer and TV. Select the HDMI channel on the TV.
    The operation is ready.

The system works perfectly. It will soon also be available for Android tablets.

In terms of price, there is no answer as to what the monthly costs are/will be to the question asked to the employees

recording alone doesn't work for me
Is this because of the trial version or am I doing something wrong

I'm not very handy, but a question do you know how to get it directly to your smart TV without an HDMI cable.
I'm trying but it won't download!

Dear people, the NL TV will continue to run for free this month so that everyone can test it out at ease before you have to pay every month, so enjoy for a while..!!
Question 1…. if you have no image and you do have sound, you can go to options (top left of our TV) and press …… open gl …… the image comes into view again with some PCs this is not the case with others

question 2 sound is really great so you really have to see if everything is properly connected and also quality

we start 5 minutes later NL and Belgium time
you can read everything on the facebook page where you get questions and answers and can win 1 extra month Nl-tv asia
We wish you lots of viewing pleasure and in the future..!!

Moderator: Do you want to write normal Dutch sentences from now on?

Don't understand it because the person who represents the interests of TV Asia and lives in Pattaya commented on the Thailand blog a few days ago and said that everything will certainly remain the same for a month, which is contradictory because the site has already been blocked ... strange bolofte ?!
