The Dutch and Belgian press mentions a Dutch pedophile, Pieter C. (Ceulen), who is wanted by Interpol.

The Algemeen Dagblad  message as follows:

“The Dutchman Pieter C., who was recently sentenced to nineteen years in prison in Belgium for, among other things, sexual abuse of small children, has been reported internationally. The sixty-year-old man has been placed on Interpol's list of persons to be arrested.

C. was on trial in Antwerp for abusing children in the Philippines and Cambodia, including his own foster daughters. He had filmed the abuse and shared it with other pedophiles. During a house search, 750 gigabytes of child pornography were found on him. According to the prosecutor in Belgium, C. was “in the highest echelons of international pedophile networks”.

He was sentenced to 19 years in prison a week and a half ago.

Cambodia

Antwerp-based businessman C. was not present during his sentencing. According to Belgian media, he may have fled to Cambodia. It was already the second time that C. managed to escape. According to Belgian media, C. was able to escape to Cambodia after an earlier conviction in 2013 due to an administrative error. There he allegedly assaulted young children again.

C. is the son of Dutch diplomats and was born in what was then Saigon in Vietnam. The man later built up a management company in Antwerp. He regularly traveled to Cambodia and built a luxury villa in the city of Siem Reap as a second residence. He would have been spotted there.

Amersfoort (NL)

The man has previously stated that his "sexual deviance" is because he was sexually assaulted by a brother at the age of 12. That would have happened at the Saint Louis boys' boarding school in Amersfoort.

Description

Interpol has placed Pieter Ceulen on the list of wanted criminals with the following description:

Name: CEULEN, PIETER

Date of birth:  17/06/1955 (60 years old)

Wanted by the judicial authorities of Belgium for prosecution / to serve a sentence

Editor's note

We hesitated to put this message on Thailandblog.nl because it once again puts the beautiful holiday countries of Cambodia and to a certain extent Thailand in a bad light.

The man is said to be in Cambodia, but it is quite conceivable that he also moves in Thailand. Dutch and Belgian tourists regularly visit Siem Reap and it is possible that someone will spot this criminal and report him to the local police. If we have made a small contribution to this, the goal has been achieved.

Hope this crazy man is caught soon. But does it make sense to extradite him to the Belgian authorities? They let him escape twice before. A third time wouldn't surprise me.

The first time he was free with conditions , because he strictly adhered to them , no further restrictions were imposed , but at his final hearing of his case he did not show up .... Only his lawyer was present . And I suspect that since he is a Dutchman that only the Netherlands could revoke his passport .... so that he could travel.
According to the newspapers, a son of diplomats, and a successful businessman working in Antwerp ...

Such men therefore possess free, but additional information, which average citizens miss. He probably knows international law by heart, with known results.
The man has – for the time being – been too quick for the court.
That won't last, bean will get his paycheck.

Fortunately, everyone who wants to enter Cambodia is registered at the border, so that a phone call to Immigration is sufficient.

But whether the police force is that smart can be doubted.

    Thailand Blog :

“We hesitated to put this message on Thailandblog.nl because it once again puts the beautiful holiday countries of Cambodia and to a certain extent Thailand in a bad light.”

It was not !! It is a fact that he can not easily be found in Asia. He would also be very stupid if he were sitting at his own house in Cambodia, but you never know.
But this kind of scum needs to be dealt with before more victims come. So certainly keep posting reports of this nature and maybe a forum reader happens to see him and can report him.
First stay in a Thai / Cambodian state hotel for a while, maybe he will also have to stand trial there with the corresponding punishment and then another 19 years in Belgium.

Yes, when I read the headline I first thought: Is that necessary on Thailandblog?
I think this doubt is motivated by the fact that in various media the sex industry in SE Asia is completely wrongly identified with child prostitution and there is no reason at all to participate in this.
But if this gentleman has a past in these parts and may now be staying there again, the importance of the greatest possible chance of rapid detection seems to me to weigh more heavily and we should just rely on the common sense of the readers.

Let's lock this pervert up in a Cambodian prison for 19 years.

And then that rotten excuse that he was abused himself, yes then you know what you are doing to those children, it makes me so angry when adults cannot keep their hands off children

He was last seen in Kampot, in the south of Cambodia.

Have seen this documentary and can recommend it. Here you see how pernicious a small group in our society is. My daughter has been working for several years with the organization Aple that helped to get this man convicted.
