Marriage Registration in Thailand (Readers Submission)

Questions are regularly asked here about registering a marriage concluded in the Netherlands in Thailand. At the time we had also put it here. So enclosed is a report of how we successfully completed this.
My wife has both Dutch and Thai nationality and I (of course) only Dutch.
Here in The Hague I picked up an international marriage certificate and my birth certificate at the city hall. Have these legalized at our Ministry of Foreign Affairs and then at the Thai embassy. Traveled to Thailand with these documents and had a copy of my passport certified at the Dutch embassy. This thanks to a topic on this site.
We had already communicated in advance with Amnat Somchit from SC Travel. He owns this company and until recently had an office diagonally opposite our embassy. Nowadays they work from home, thanks to the lesser business due to the corona pandemic. However, their e-mail address and telephone numbers have not changed. Amnat had our documents translated and legalized and then sent them by EMS to our hotel in Nonghan.
Then to the Amphur in Nonghan. With my passport and all legalized documents, as well as my wife's Thai passport and ID card and the Tambien Baan where she is still listed, everything was processed. Also get 2 witnesses, who have to show their ID cards and put some signature there. After all those actions, we got an original Thai document, stating that my wife is now legally married and the often mentioned Kor Rok 22.
We also had to pay ฿ 60.00. Moreover, it will also cost you half a day, because Thai civil servants work a bit differently than here in the Netherlands.

If you go to immigration for an extension of NON-O from your extension based on marriage, you must have this Kor Ror 22 again, it is only valid for a limited time. Are people asking for the original from the Netherlands every time? request again from the municipality legalize by foreign affairs and embassy.? What if you don't go back to the Netherlands?
No Max, you just have to return to the Thai municipality where your marriage was registered and get proof that you are still married. This statement is only valid for 30 days. So no legalization or other fuss, just get proof that you are still married. That's all.
The KorRor2 is proof of marriage registration if the marriage was performed in Thailand.
A KorRor22 is the same but means that the marriage was contracted abroad.
Once your foreign marriage has also been registered in Thailand, it will remain registered there.
You only have to do that once.
What you need for a year extension as a Thai Marriage, among other things, is an extract from the KorRor22.
You can easily get this at any town hall.
It is only an extract and does not change your original Kor Ror 22.
On the original KorRor22, immigration can only see that you were once married and that your marriage was once registered in Thailand, but is no proof that you are still married.
That's why that extract. That proves you are still legally married.
Normally such an extract is only valid for 30 days, but if you accept longer….

Suppose you had the documents legalized by CDC translated into Thai in NL and then legalized by the Thai embassy. Wouldn't this make an extra step that you had the SC do? Only the translator in NL is more expensive.

Only the handling in Thailand has yet to take place.
The stamps of Min. BZ and Thai embassy are from 2017.

Thank you for your clear explanation, could you actually not wait for the documents, or will it take longer than a few days?
We also have to arrange it later, but stay in BKK for about 4 days, then we can skip the EMS and take the documents with us immediately, if it doesn't take too long.

Another question, how much did you have to pay to sc travel. Exactly the same applies to me, marriage certificate, birth certificate and passport.

I lost about 5.200 Baht. This is for the translations, legalizations, sending by EMS to our hotel and their fee.
I thought it was reasonable, especially since it just saves us a lot of time and work. Amnat knows exactly how to arrange this efficiently and as said, he has arranged some things for us now 4 or 5 times, fulfills his agreements well and works to our complete satisfaction.
