We bought our house in 2013 for 2.300.000 baht. The price included furniture, connections, painting, shelter, terraces, fly windows, curtains, etc.
Located at Nong Preu dark site of Pattaya.

Pulls very well on Sansuk 2 houses.
That's a house in sansuk town. Close to Pattaya football stadium.

6 m wide swimming pool is common.
But sometimes no place due to too many schoolchildren taking the seats after school and not swimming.

you overestimate the rents. My daughter's house in the same neighborhood is for rent and the prices vary between 14.500 and 18.000 Bath. You can no longer rent such a house for 20.000 Bath. There is an oversupply of empty houses in the Darkside. If you spend 30.000 baht on rent, you will have a house with your own swimming pool.

30000 is a bit exaggerated, these houses are about 15000 to a maximum of 20.000 per month.
What strikes me is that there are few houses with an extractor fan on the ceiling. I was very pleased with the experience of extractors 20 years ago, when I had a new house built. It makes a difference of just 3 degrees, the heat is extracted. If you also smoke in your home, this is actually a must.
Houses in the north and center of the country are available for rent from 7000 baht per month. And there are other reasons to rent than just money. What about flexibility if you don't like the living environment or if your wife can get a job elsewhere?

Just a fairly standard Thai terraced house, I have visited and stayed in such houses. Nothing wrong with that. It doesn't really make my heart beat faster, but I could live there. Only the picture of the swimming pool is a bit unfortunate, because such a terraced house does not have that. That could have been better at the bottom with the explanation that it is a neighborhood swimming pool.
