Looking at houses from readers (14)
My dream house is in Huay Yai (near Pattaya). After 6 years in Pattaya, it was time to move to a more rural environment. We found a beautiful location just 14 km outside of Pattaya. That's where we built our dream house.
- Living room 70 m²
- Outdoor terrace 90 m² (roofed)
- Kitchen 30 sqm
- 2 bedrooms 30 m²
- 1 guest house 50 m²
- 3 bathrooms 10 m²
- 3 toilets
- Swimming pool 92 m²
- Garage
- Carport
- Paradise garden
Total surface 1400 m²
Price 10 million baht. That is a considerable amount, but in the Netherlands I could have just bought a terraced house for it.
Very happy to live here!

Dear reader, have you also had a house built in Thailand? Send a photo with some information and the costs to [email protected] and we post it.
Looks nice and you deserve it. Enjoy it.
Beautiful house Jacob, beautiful pictures of the whole outside too. I don't have 10 million baht, so I can't imitate you. But if you do have it, you deserve it. Still a lot of living pleasure, but that will succeed at the house it will certainly not lie.
Beautiful home, enjoy
You're right, you can only spend your money once, it's gone
I don't think you can take it with you to the next life.
and why not a dream home like yours
Have fun in a beautiful house
Gr Pete
Very nice house. I'd like to see it sometime. I live in PONG 4 months a year from Dec. through March. Ben
Hi Ben,
Are you coming to Thailand again in December? Super!!
Then give me a call and I'll show you this beautiful house....
Kind regards, Joshua

Yes Jacob,
That's enjoying with a big G, hahaaaa
Indeed, in the Netherlands you get a terraced house for that. For the time being, we do not yet have any OZB in Thailand and we pay about € 25 per month for actual energy consumption.
Do you know that Ned TV commercial: “That's fun, man!”
Very nice!
10 million, including purchase of land?
Yes including the ground
Brilliant though. Palace.
Looks absolutely great ennnn….awarded of course. Can you have it built in Thailand without an economic interest being required????
Something isn't right here.
That house is for sale for 15,5 million baht on Wereldhuisje.nl

How can that house be for sale when you were building it JACOB?
You should educate yourself before making this kind of comment.
The house you refer to is not my house.
That was my neighbor's house and it was indeed sold a few years ago.
nice house and if all goes well we are neighbours. I am in moo12 and you?
moo 5.
Near dog kennel K9
Beautiful home! Swimming pool partly covered I see, very practical!
What a beautiful house, enjoy it if you want to look for the crowds, you can do so over not too long a distance
Beautiful house, in the future I also want to move to my girlfriend in Thailand and I can see myself growing old in such a house
Enjoy it.

Beautiful house and great that you can live like this in relation to a Dutch terraced house. Good luck and have fun there.
Congratulations on such a house, very nice, but easily 280000 euros if I have calculated correctly.
and that is not in your name, but that of your wife.
ludo,
That's absolutely right, but if that € 280.000 is in your last costume, then Jacob enjoyed it more.
In addition, the heirs may still deduct between 20 and 40% inheritance tax.
Magnificent!
Looks impressive.
Enjoy it.
What a beautiful beautiful house. This must be a dream every time you get out of bed. We only plan to go to Asia for a month every year. We have had a lot of countries in Asia, but Thailand remains number 1, don't ask us why. A month in Asia is still manageable because I think we will miss our (4) kids and grandchildren too much. We hope that we will be able to fly again soon without any problems so that we can travel again.
you won't believe it but I'm practically your neighbor
live in Moo 12 and when I go to sports I pass your house just about every day
I'll have a better look out of my caps when I drive past it again because it looks very nice
Admittedly a very nice house, where I, as a pensioner and thinking ahead, would depend on outside help for maintenance in terms of the size of the plot, certainly now or in the future.
I live with my wife so that a house the size of the mentioned 70 square meter living room would be big enough.
I've lived big all my life and done a lot of gardening, and because I won't be dependent on outside help, I deliberately chose a different variant.
Strange help and being dependent on third persons, whom I want to prevent as long as possible with my variant of living, so that I can also keep my private freedom in my 4 walls as long as possible.
I don't want to think that just because of my desire to live bigger, I may have to count on every hour of the day that I have to share my 4 walls and paradise garden with, among others, the cleaning lady and the gardener.
But admit it a beautiful house where I would like to live with my children in the early years, but for my last mentioned reasons I prefer not to anymore.
Freedom, private atmosphere, living independently as long as possible, and a penny in the bank where we can buy most of the missing wishes, are the highest good for me and my wife.
Beautiful house!! Enjoy it. (For the record: in The Hague you really don't have a terraced house for 280.000 euros, so a very good investment / spending of that money.)
Beautiful house,
I also want to build something in Thailand in the future, but I don't know if this will fall within my budget, enjoy it, come to Thailand twice a year to visit my girlfriend, but that is in the northeast Dan Dung region of Udon Thani.
