Unfortunately, my second Sandbox PCR test was positive on January 5th. I was asymptomatic.

Called early in the morning by the reception that I had to stay in my room and in the afternoon around 16.00 pm taken by ambulance to le Bali hospitel (4 star hotel) where I had to be quarantined for 10 days. During this period I had 2x contact with a doctor (had no complaints), 1x blood test and 2x a lung x-ray.

The food 3 times a day was fine and there was also sufficient delivery. Room also good only, no Wi-Fi but I had already arranged that myself. Saturday morning at 09.00:XNUMX a phone call that I could get out and at the desk I received a recovery certificate in English in duplicate.

Because I had taken out insurance through AXA Thailand, all this did not cost me a single baht, but it was an unpleasant interruption to my holiday.

Stay until the end of February and see in the last week what I need for my return flight to the Netherlands with KLM.

  1. Willem says up

Yes, that's great that it is fully reimbursed by AXA.
In the past year and a half, self-quarantined 3 times for 15 days, but at your own expense, it is better to test positive, it is cheaper, I see.
