'Hello welcome' or 'Welcome massage', these are the familiar cries you hear in a tourist soi. You wonder if there are enough customers for those hundreds, if not thousands, of girls. Apparently they are, because they are there every day. Beautiful, ugly, thin, fat, ladyboy or case of doubt. And when you walk through the streets as a farang, it's damn hard to choose between all that beauty.

After walking down a street, I decided to opt for the attractive Koi. Although I wonder if it was really my choice, because Koi saw me walking past and then try to walk on.

massage parlor

There are all kinds of massage parlors in Thailand. The 'clean' salons can be recognized by the company clothing, the often 'older' women who work there and the better locations where they are located. Of course that does not mean that only massages are given... The 'wrong' salons can be recognized by the lesser locations (in alleys and side streets), although the women with push-up bras and a lot of make-up often sit on the 'road'. If you decide to come along, you often have to go up a flight of stairs or through a curtain to a rear area. The salon where Koi works was located in such a side street of a busy street, where the ladies were waiting for the customers on the corner of the busy street. Busy with the phone (which Thai isn't?), but if a potential customer walked by, everything possible was done to lure in this pot of money.

Encounter with Koi

Although her colleagues made a lot more effort, Koi just laughed or shouted something that undoubtedly contained a combination of the words 'hello', 'welcome' or 'massage'. I hadn't even seen her the first day, then walked 20 yards to another salon, but the 2e day I saw her. I made eye contact, stopped walking for a moment, after which Koi knew enough. She immediately came to me and I agreed to an Aloe Vera massage. She didn't have a typical Thai face, she had dark brown hair with braids on one side. There was something about her I couldn't resist. We walked into the drawing room, where it was a mess and I walked her up the stairs to the 1e floor. Everything was wrong about the salon; what the ladies looked like, what the salon itself looked like and the sounds from the other rooms that I heard during the massage.

The massage

As with many massage parlors it was terribly cold, here too the air conditioning was running at full speed. The fan that was pointed at me also sent the cold directly my way. With the cold Aloe Vera gel added, the winter was complete. Fortunately, Koi saw that I was cold and turned off the fan. Koi was able to massage beyond expectations; first the back and then the legs with of course extra attention for the inside of the legs. The tension was built up slowly and the Aloe Vera gel made it all extra tasty. Slowly you will be seduced and your desire for more than just a massage will grow. It's a game, where the question comes naturally after you turn around. After turning around, I was already naked, Koi looked at me with her beautiful dark eyes. She smiled and started massaging my legs. She kept looking at me and every look back was met with a beautiful smile. It made me feel good.

Special

After massaging the insides of my legs, my body gave the response it was waiting for, perhaps hoping for, and asked what else I wanted. Where we mainly call it a 'happy ending', they call it 'special' in Thailand. A broad concept for a range of services. The tension is immediately gone, because now it becomes business.

Every suggestion on my part was met with a 'How much you give me?' or 'How much you can pay?'. It seems as if they immediately forgot that they only charge 500 Baht for an hour of massage, because everything under 500 Baht is suddenly 'Small money'. Now it's about making money. And now you also understand why some ladies have enough with 1 or 2 customers a day. Koi was no different from others in that respect, but because of the attraction I felt towards her, there was not much left of the tough negotiator I think I was. I can't and don't want to say more about it, but I can say that Koi hasn't left my mind since then.

The writer will probably not share his experience with his family and loved ones, but why on this blog?
Advertising on this blog for sex massages I think, and many others, have a bad influence on men with little sense of responsibility for the effects of girls, who earn their money with this.
It's hard for those girls to build a normal relationship with someone they would like to love. Because of the money they earn, they often get stuck in that world of sex without real love and often keep this life hidden from their own family.
It is not a life to be proud of or to respect. They are often girls who no longer develop in their lives and no longer see their good talents. Stories about drinking and drug use are condemned on this blog, but the effects of sex with young girls for money do get a platform on this blog.
I hope that the editors will also share my opinion. If only to respect each other's opinions and perhaps remind people of their responsibilities, which are greater than their own needs.
    Danny

I have no problem with the fact that the editors also wanted to post your opinion, but let's agree that you speak for yourself.
To state in advance that your opinion is shared by 'many others' therefore seems out of order to me.
Nor is it for you to say in general terms that the life of a massage girl is not something to be respected. I'll figure that out myself, I think.

Do you (and the many others you mentioned?) have enough experience to judge these women in this way? Do you ever know or speak to masseuses who work in this industry? Very often it is respectable women, wives and mothers of children who earn a bath or something on the side by giving the customers some eroticism. How do you come to the conclusion that massage parlors are only about sex with young girls?
You are lumping prostitutes and masseuses together. And it turns out that there is a huge market for these erotic massages, both in Thailand and in the Netherlands, those salons are popping up like mushrooms.

Dear Danny, you should have become a father, not a priest, because they don't have too good a reputation here in Belgium. Let everyone live as he wants without playing the moral knight.

Indeed, there are girls who are struggling financially and who, out of necessity, accept this kind of work with great reluctance. But there are also a lot of girls who have no problem with the short extra income after the massage that gives them a very nice monthly salary. And if they also find the farang who will continue to sponsor them in the future and offer them a bright future.
Some girls are very disappointed if you just want a regular oil massage and don't use the additional services.
This is part of life in Thailand…it won't change anytime soon.

I am convinced that most of those girls are only looking for one thing: someone to take care of her (and often child(ren)).

I had wanted to ask for some time whether anyone has ever had an aloe vera massage. Years ago we saw a massage parlor where this was offered. We were curious because my wife was full of praise for aloe vera and its good properties at that time. then go in and ask for this special treatment. One of the girls says "oh me can't do aloe vera". Another then takes her place and in the meantime we hear the sound of ice cubes. We are already lying on our stomachs and raise our eyebrows curiously. At the same time we rise several centimeters when a mountain of ice cubes wrapped in a towel is placed on our back and our whole body is worked on. I don't remember the details but after a while it became very bearable. have often been back to this same salon during that holiday and I opted for an aloe vera once more, but for my wife 1x was enough. She once brought such a tube herself and asked to use it instead of the usual oil, but the masseuse didn't have enough for an hour with a whole tube. By the way, someone knows something about the composition of the oil that one spreads more generously than the other.

A few years ago, the owner of my hotel in Kong Chiam (the most eastern town of Thailand) asked me to undergo a good and extremely professional massage during my short stay there. The masseuse turned out to be a young "nurse" in the local hospital and was happy to show me what she knew about it. I got a more than fantastic massage from her for 150 baht for an hour and a half. Not a single word about “possibly a little more” even though I only had a towel around my loins. She was intensely happy with her “gage” and I with the massage experienced. The owner of my accommodation later turned out to be extremely satisfied with the fact that I had given the masseuse the opportunity to show someone (in this case a farang) the “real art of a good massage”. That's another way to do it! An exception? It depends on where you are in Thailand.
