COVID at homes RonnyLatYa
On Tuesday it was our turn. My wife developed a fever in the late evening. Up to 38,5 degrees. Headache, muscle pain, sore throat, some coughing... Self-test done and indeed COVID.
The next day to the hospital and there she received the confirmation. So COVID had managed to get into our house. Meanwhile, the fever had already dropped to 37,5. Received some pills and the announcement that she had to stay at home for 10 days. Then come back for another test. Or the situation had to deteriorate in the meantime.
In the meantime I didn't feel very well myself, but no fever. Only a slight headache, some sniffling and a sore throat, in other words they were only minor inconveniences.
Both are now much better, no more fever, but a general tiredness still remains in the body.
Apparently the hospital had also notified the municipality and they brought us a free food package (see photo). The neighbors also bring food from the market and we will not starve.
Just briefly how COVID finally got to us and it's going for us.
It reads like you have the Omikron variant. I did too and so did my girlfriend. Didn't mean much to me, a week of laziness and a week a bit tired. My girlfriend got rid of it after 3 days, but she is also a bit younger than I am 😉
Get well soon for your wife and for you Ronny.
Best wishes from the heart.
Hopefully you will be recovered soon.
Got sick with a cold two weeks ago.
We also did the self-tests.
I stayed negative, but my wife tested positive.
Now two weeks later, both tests are negative again, but we will stay inside for a few more days.
Regards
We all had a turn too. There was some discussion about who brought Covid in. In the end, we blamed the baby.

Get well soon Ronny to you, it's going to be all right. I myself have already had Covid 2 times, the first time was quite sick 2 years ago, but I didn't even notice the omikron that I was infected.
Get well soon Ronny!! Fortunately, the damage is limited and you will soon be back to normal. Courage!
Nice initiative that a food package is brought. They can learn something here.
Hope to be back in good health soon, both of you, Ronny!
Thank you again for your endless super efficient answers to the many questions here, regarding administrative questions!!!!!
Get well soon, dear Ronny…just take it easy…
Hopefully you will both be healthy again very soon, Ronny!
And again, many thanks for those countless super efficient answers to the many administrative questions on this site!!!!!!
Get well soon to you and your wife Ronny.
We wish you both a speedy and definitive recovery.
Even further improvement, nice that it wasn't a heavy form!
Get well soon.
speedy recovery.
Lots of get well soon toppers!
Take care, Ronny and family. Get well soon!
Well luckily it's getting better again, what a nice food package
Here in our village, too, more and more infections are occurring. A ribbon is stretched in front of the house in question with a red sign: Covid and forbidden to enter. Here too, the municipality provides food packages and drinking water. And as a nice positive side effect, the sense of community is being rekindled. Family, neighbors and others also regularly drop by to deliver daily necessities.
Oh yes, forgot. Ronnie and eega wish you a speedy recovery.
Get well soon, nice to hear that integration is not really a dream, dear and considerate neighbors and a municipality and health policy that can still be there. Thank you for the great work you do.
Van Harte Get well soon, mainstay of Thailandblog !!!
Get well soon
May god bless you all
Get well soon Ronnie!
Will be fine with that 10-day quarantine survival kit
Fortunately, you can continue working with all the good visa advice! Fine!
Ronnie,
Get well soon and thanks for your effort on this site.
Get well soon for your wife.
Hopefully the old one will be back soon, because we still have plenty to discuss.
get well soon Ronny and if you lived near Ubon, you would receive a daily simple food package from our temple!
Don't complain about government support, but the community here takes care of each other.
We hope you can pick up the thread again soon.
Best wishes and a speedy recovery!!! Nice that the municipality had a food package delivered. Neighbors in our village also provide food packages in such a case.
Get well soon!
Ronny and family, we also wish you a speedy recovery and it's great that the municipality provides you with water and food.
Thank you for your personal experience regarding COVID contamination Ronny.
I now know so many people with a similar story as Ronny.
We can therefore conclude that a COVID infection with Omricon hardly causes any serious symptoms.
Hopefully people will finally shake off the huge fear of COVID and hopefully after more than two years we will finally go back to a normal life as soon as possible without all those restrictions of the past two years.
Get well soon Ronny and family!
